I was looking to get myself hyped again now that Arcs is on the water, and after watching this video I can only say "mission accomplished".

The tragic missing of the Imperial Council secure - that should automatically trigger an Event! Even if you don't call a Summit, it still gets a free Edict or Crisis of your choice - which could've netted Ethan some valuable resources in the First Regent trust using the Edicts, and maybe swung the scales of Tycoon in his favour with Escalation! Stealing one from both other Regents would've been huge, and could've maybe changed the tide of the game. Partisan is very fun but it is one of the most luck based Fates, especially in Act One - Informants is meant to counteract the low numbered hands to Surpass, but its all very luck based just because it has to be - you've got to rely on taking initiative, and that's just so luck dependent. And that Golem Warriormove to kill all the ships at the end... illegal by Imperial Law! You cannot harm (which includes destroying) ships in Imperial controlled space, by the Imperial Law of Truce - even with a non-battle effect such as the Golem. It's a shame that there have been a couple rules misinterpretations (which happen all the time - especially because I think most of them are a product of being used to older versions of the Arcs campaign TTS) but always at Ethan's expense - like, this game was *rough*, even by Arcs standards, but that is just a painful cherry on top... you genuinely didn't play that badly at all, you got screwed by a combination of luck, a couple rules errors, and the Caretaker's bullying. However - sometimes one just cracks enough to decide... what they'll actually be cracking are planets. And we all love a good story!

You guys are fun! I want more board game friends. Just got my copy of Arcs + Expansion in the mail a few days back. I'm going to be playing 2p for the first time on Saturday. I'm pumped. Been excited for this game for years!

Awesome! Excited just point out a small issue. In setup, empty building slots in the Empire cores (Cluster 1 & 6) are supposed to be filled with Free Cities

This is dope! I was looking forward to Act 3 of the previous campaign but it makes sense to start a new one with the updated rules. Got a flight later today, so I’m gonna download this and watch it later!

Amazing game! I had a thought at 18:30 when you asked about the lore of the golems; maybe it would be fun to imagine them as being remnants of some ancient civilization's answer to the threat of the blight; the caretaker wants to reactivate them in order to save the reach.

Such a fascinating game. I resonate with your experience--the last Arcs game I played, it seemed like nothing went right and my enemies dogpiled me, too. Still looking forward to getting my copy in the mail, though. Thanks for the playthrough

1:35:49 caretaker shouldn't be able to harm your ships if empire is present. That includes destroying them!

1. Early on Blue built a starport in a system controlled by Yellow so should have been damaged. 2. Red gained the Imperial Council - you must declare an Edict or Crisis irrespective of whether you declare a Summit. 3 Red could have taken the card with lots of blue/red agents on it by destroying a blue city and then ransacking the court. 4 During the Intermission I assumed you destroyed all the cities in systems with blight and no ships? Otherwise an interesting game and looking forward to the next.

Id like to see the setup for the next act in the future, rather than it just being sped up, id be kind of fun to see reactions and rules discussions

where did you find the newest version of the tts mod? in mine the imperial trust and some other tiles look different.

At 1:22:00 you start moving crises to the discard after resolving then. Are you supposed to do that? I couldn't find a rule that says to discard them after resolving.

Is it just me or should the court be rotated 90 degrees so you don’t have to struggle to read the court?
