Golf 3 "DRAG" VR6T is back alive!! HX35 hood exhaust!!

From 200+hp N/A VR6 to a VR6 SUPERCHARGER, and now we rebuilded the engine and mounted a Turbo on it!!
This Golf 3 had a lot of transformations in the last year..
From a "roadcar" to a "trackcar" to become a DRAGRACE car!!
This car has some real potential, and I can proudly say that we made the first start with the turbo setup.
We'll take the car on the Dyno this week!!

Awesome Job! The oil cooler should not be in front of intercooler because it will warm up the intercooler and it shake a lot and can cause damage to the intercooler. Just a tip...

Bedankt voor je reactie en het compliment. Maar "camshaft" is een nokkenas..😉 Geloof dat het toch echt een "knock sensor" is 👍.

I would try and source a Kinetic exhaust manifold instead of that ATP type manifold. It will give that turbo a little more clearance by dropping it a bit below the rain tray. Also it’s not called a “drip”. It’s a teardrop cut. I would also step up the size to a 4” with a turbo that big.

i really want vr6T but should i🤭 golf 3 vr6t or 1.8t🤭🤭

Met een 1.8t zit je al snel op 250pk en met wat grotere turbo en mods op 350-400 en veel verkrijgbaar. Bij een vr6T built heb je veel minder plug and play en gaat het veel duurder zijn denk ik dan. Ik rijd zelf een s3 8l met 1.8t quattro. 270pk en rijd echt al leuk. Ik heb geen idee wat deze vr6t met de holset gaat draaien van pk. 400?

We draaide 415pk, maar waren er niet tevreden over ivm te lage compressie verhouding. Gaan nu naar een andere verhouding en opnieuw de dyno op. Doel is 500pk.
