Scheffler was so excited because he knew he had actually won the Masters that even though he went through his routine, his total focus was gone. Missing at that point didn't matter like it had earlier in the round. No matter what happened, he was the Masters Champion. Well done Scottie

A few delusional folks in the comments saying they have never 4 putted from 5 feet 🤦‍♂ yeah that's because you take a gimme after the first 2 misses to save yourself from more embarrassment 🤣🤣 Tour players have no choice but to hole out on every green unless it's Matchplay

Also most golf courses that amateur golfers use don’t make their greens as fast as what the pros play on. Their greens make the ball curve on slopes much more drastically even at shorter distances than what you or I play on

Nope. I have never 4 putted from five feet simply because the municipal courses on which I play are incredibly easy. Putts are straight and the slopes are non existent (relatively speaking).

I needed this one. Lost a match I was 3 up on thru three. 4 putted the last 3 holes and snapped my putter. This makes me feel so much better

I 5 putted, then dropped the ball and hit it in mid air into the water. My friend said "What about the putter?" So I tomahawk threw it into the far side of the water like some Lord of The Ring's beast chucking a boulder at a castle. It was great. It even made helicopter sounds before "Bloooop."

Getting on the green with a birdie opportunity can be a very dangerous thing for us amateurs and can lead to 4-5 putts. But getting on the green for your bogie shot is an easy 2 putt lol

My tee shot on a par 3 landed 12 feet away from the pin. 2 overly aggressive putts and 2 lip outs later, I carded a 5, my friend said I got so silent it was like the sound had been pulled from the earth. If it wasn't a new pro v1, I would have flung it away. I still have full body cringes when I think about it.

Many years ago the R & A together with the PGA spent around a million dollars trying to find out, what the easiest shot in golf was. Many said it was the drive, some even said a pitching wedge. However in the end, the final result was, the fourth putt..............

When I was a younger and very good ball striker I had the putting yips. I would sometimes double hit putts. There is nothing worse than double hitting a 3-footer then tapping in for a bogey when you should have had a birdie.

These are world class players who are trying to hit the ball firmly to take out the break but it really narrows the margin for error and it doesn't take much for them to lip out.
