Golf Mk 8 GTI Full Hifi Upgrade with DSP

2 жыл бұрынHere we have upgraded a Golf GTI Mk8 with a full JL Audio / Hertz Mille Legend Audio System. We have used the JL Audio VXi Amplifier with inbuilt DSP to drive the front Hertz component speakers activly, it also drives the rear speakers when necessary, The VXi DSP ouputs Subwoofer audio to JL Audio XD600/1v2 amplifier that in turn drives the JL Audio TW5 13" subwoofer. We have fabricated A Pillar builds to get the tweeters in the correct position to enable perfect resoponse and great imaging.

What should the cost for product and install be for a job like this? I've contacted a couple of audio installers in the area and was told that at the very least, it would be $2,500-$3,000 for an audio upgrade in a mk8.

Hi Tony, An install like this will cost in exsess of £4k.
