Realignment is what I’m struggling with cause I never knew one had to make markings🙆‍♂️

There are also two small black bushes between the gear leaver and the selector shaft (under the gear leaver) they should be changed.also check the ball on the gear leaver and the gear leaver housing

good video I changed a 4speed box to a 5speed so having truoble with gear selecting i have a good idea of the linkages now

My brothers mk1 diesel is stuck in reverse. He took the linkage off. Now I am trying to help him. Fist question is how do we get the transmission out of reverse? It’s a 4 speed .

Hi Mr Pj's.. I'm a huge fan of your videos as I own a mk1. I've used your videos for troubleshooting and fixing my car and it has saved me lot of money and stress. My only problem is gear no 1 and reverse there's nothing separating the two, of which it makes it hard for me to select gear 1 without having to comfuse it with reverse. Any suggestions or I need a new gearbox?

Morning Pj. Thank you for all your vids. It has helped me a lot can you give me some advice 2000 1.3 sonic if I shift from 1st to 2nd it grinds but the rest of the gears is fine. What can be the cause for that. Regards And keep up with the good videos

I've an Mk3 Jetta CLX and the problem I'm having is that reverse gear doesn't engage... Everytime I put on reverse it moves forward

ok so i didnt put a mark on that shaft when i took it out is there a way where i can put it back in but in its correct place, does it have a mark that comes on the shaft or do we have to make one specifically for it?
