ABOUT ME:
I’m Liam Harrison, Bolton born and bred. I’m a lover of Golf, life and laughter.
Started Golf 12 years ago after packing in football when i was 28 due to a back injury.
I started the KZfaq channel as a laugh and a Wim, to make me practice but that went out the window as i started vlogging, loving being on camera but more so the interaction with my #golfmates.
In 14 months i have seen the channel evolve and become the only real golf community on KZfaq which i am extremly proud of.
I would like to thank all the #golfmates that have been with us and supported us and the channel from the start. Also not forgetting our new #golfmates that may have only just come across the channel.

I think we have all, at some time in our golfing life, had a moan at our greenkeeping staff. Maybe we should all stand on Thursday and applaud them for the work they have been carrying out during lockdown, we should also make a point of thanking them whenever you see them in and around the course.

its kinda justified at my course. we have 1 greenkeeper. he has access to all the equipment he could ever need, yet the grass is mowed on average once a week, the fairways, greens and bunkers are riddled with weeds and bare patches and the creeks are overgrown and stagnant

Great videos, we have one greenkeeper at my club who is helped by members, they all do a fantastic job. Any time I see them I always make a point of stopping and having a chat and thank them for all the great work.

Loving the Green keeper insight, every now and then you should do simpler things working behind the bar, ect it's just a interesting insight into what people do so you enjoy your golf course. As you have learnt there is a lot of time and work that different people put in 👍👍👍

I can remember when I was younger I use to get down to the golf course via my Dad dropping me off on the side of the freeway.I would see the green keeper and staff working away.Making new holes,sprinklers going and piles of turf moved around.At one time they even use to use South African Breweries sludge to keep our fairways healthy and green.Our course was very sandy so it was a big job for them.People don't always understand the equipment costs and time that goes in to the average course.We just rock up and play.So you're right it doesn't cost you anything to say thanks for your hard work.Good insight again Liam and especially the green keepers for their knowledge and explanations.

Another great insight to what the green keepers do. "The Boss" seems to know it all inside out, people like this are worth every penny with their knowledge. It's definitely something we should all do, respect the team working hard to make our courses playable week in week out. It doesn't cost anything to let them know we appreciate their efforts. Can't wait for tomorrow morning, 1st shot in 7 weeks will definitely be a shank into OOB😂😂 ENJOY YOUR GAME WITH OMP LIAM

Played with frost on the ground this past Saturday in Illinois. First day this particular course was open and I wanted to be first on the course. Absolutely love the last couple day's videos. Ultimate respect for the greenkeepers.

I enjoyed the behind-the-scene interview and discussion about the grounds-keeping at your golf course. There's a lot more that goes into the golf-course than I realized.
