When I was younger, single handicap, I used to get angry at every bad shot. These days I am playing off 15, I am not trying to improve. I accept the bad days and you enjoy the good days. Most of all I enjoy the golf with a good group of friends. It's supposed to be fun!

Liam I want your Shotscope. I’m 70 and don’t have the distance I once had. I play similar to how you played today and am happy breaking 90 these days. Golf is all about enjoyment, getting out with friends and having a pint afterwards. Brilliant video as always.

Liam I want your shotscope,we had a 4 man scramble competition yesterday with 2 9 year olds a boy and a girl as part of our 4 man team,was a competition for charity and after watching afew videos in the past using pretty much this system to get the 1st 2 balls in play and allowing 1 person per hole to go for the glory shot,we ended up winning the competition 👍 keep the videos coming mate ⛳️👌

Two year's ago, I was playing off 24, started playing in Wednesday Comps with the OMP'S of my club, their advice, why try smashing a 3 wood off fairway, put a 6 iron up middle and keep ball in play. Straight and steady. I'm now playing off 12 using that method. No driver in bag, and I hit my 3 wood 190/200 but consistently straight with it .

Nearly always use the 8 iron chip and run because my chipping is not great. had my best 9 holes today a 40 round Kirkby Lonsdale. Not bad for a 14 handicapper

Shot a 95 on Friday but l had 2 x 7s and an 8. I’m a 22 handicap and l lost a 97 so couple of points off. Couldn’t drive consistently but my rescue Club saved me allowing boggy golf for the most part, so played 4 iron off the tee back 9 which made a big difference. I also use my 8 and 9 iron for anything under 70 yards. Great video again Liam, right up my street. Keep them coming please.

Love this video Liam. We all rush to try and play "pretty" golf the whole time as we think that's the way it should be played. Too often we lose sight of the aim of golf is to shoot the lowest score possible, and it actually doesn't matter how you do it as there are no pictures on the scorecard. Great lesson to be learned here as I am sure there are loads of golfmates watching this that struggle to break 90, but if they follow these tips will actually find it easier than they thought. Got to take the risk out of play, and try and remember we are not pro golfers!

to be fair this is a great play, course management and staying out the hazards, but also show you can enjoy a round of golf and not drying to be Rory.. also starts giving you more confidence and more shots in ya bag... loved this video... you talked through it fantastically.

Breaking 90 Liam’s Plan filmed very well and in the Can. Whilst breaking 90 will be fine please pick the right clubs and TAKE YOUR TIME The trusty six to hit 180 a distance which is your Golf Matey Chip forward and watch it go to hit the green and keep putts low - use 8 and 9 Takomo, fancy wedges no, no, no. Don’t be scared of the BOGEY MAN they’re all included in the plan - Doubles Trouble but not the end plenty of Bonus to make amends Chicken ‘n’ Rice 83’s nice don’t forget to smash the LIKE! Fantastic video, I need to take this on board . After having a stroke 4 years ago( thankfully I'm pretty much OK with just a slightly weaker left side which occasionally creates some weird and wonderful shots) my handicap has unfortunately hit a very high 26 from 15. Most of my problems occur from trying to hit driver or woods. Hitting irons most of the time keeps me out of trouble and would possibly bring my handicap down to somewhere reasonable. The one good thing from my little hospital visit is that if and when I hit a bad shot I no longer get angry I just smile and think to myself ' be happy I'm here playing golf , it could have been a very different outcome' . Liam, I want your shotscope, only took up playing in November, and got my first ever birdie on Thursday. Learnt loads today from this video. Boring golf will be the way forward for me, and hopefully break the big 100, At 67 years old, I doubt I will ever break the 90, but one must try. Great video mate

A real eye opener 😮 , I’m one of those golfers “ need to get it there !!” But that video proved the short lay up shot is far better than giving at a whack with your longed club and loosing the ball option . For two years I have struggled with this wonderful game of golf ⛳️ hitting 104s 106s 103s 😂 I played yesterday and just used my 7 iron 8 iron 9 iron pw sw putter and I shot 93 🎉🎉🎉🎉 it was actually easy I missed a load of easy putts so I could have gone much lower . Very good Liam as a person whose goal is to break 90 on regular basis to keep handicap from becoming embarrassing I have started to do something similar. It doesn’t always work as I sometimes think I’m still the player I once was and try to take on hero shot but am beginning to ignore that and listen to my sensible voice going forward
