Man, that's a nice course guys. As always love the video. I know this is an older video but I wanted to tell Steve that I have noticed how much he has improved from when I first started watching you guys. Keep it up Mr. Barlow. I'm not a pro golfer by any means but if Steve would just practice his swing with a towel tucked under his right arm for 5-10 @ a time, Omp and Liam might be in trouble lol. Keep it coming guys.

I'm a big fan of Mr. Barlow. When he starts yapping and throws in "comment below", I fall out of my chair laughing. And he's a better chipper than me with the scoopie woopie so I wouldn't be making fun of it. I think he's as good of a chipper as Liam. Love the videos golf mates. Penalty? What penalty??? 😂 Here is the reply I received from the USGA on the, um, "situation" between Liam and Mr. Barlow... Thanks for reaching out. As you stated, in match play, if a ball in motion after a stroke played from the putting green is deflected by a ball in play and at rest on the putting green, there is no penalty. In stroke play, however, when both balls are on the putting green, the player who made the stroke gets a penalty of two strokes - see Exception to Rule 11.1a. The ball at rest is replaced and the ball in motion is played as it lies. In four-ball stroke play, the penalty would apply. However, a scramble format is not directly contemplated by the Rules of Golf and therefore the Committee must determine how the Rules apply to that form of play.

Ok boys. that was more like bickering than bantering. In a captain's choice scramble aka Texas scramble, it doesn't really matter if you bumped your team mates golf ball. Just replace the ball and play from there. Also, you don't need to drop from your knee when you are playing a scramble. Simply place the ball within the area of the marked location. I have played in scrambles where they give you a card lengths distance to as far as a club length. Life is life... have a great time.
