Wazwan is a multi course meal with roots in Central Asia. It was brought here by Sufī missionaries who thronged Kashmir in the 13th and 14th century CE. It's relished on weddings and relished by one and all. PS: You get authentic wazwan only in weddings where it's prepared in traditional manner, on firewood and coal. Wazas (chefs) vary the fire and heat for every dish. Like tabakh maaz is prepared on seething coal (no fire is used) while vessels containing ristas & goshtabas need a lot of fire, while preparing as well as while heating when ready to be served to guests. Wazwan prepared on gas stoves comes nowhere close to it. Try to gatecrash a Kashmiri wedding someday to relish the real wazwan ;-)

the review was awesome , when you opened the vista the way it broke open I could by seeing it its not authentic they have used soya puree to reduce cost of rista its not fully meat its use of soya chunk puree you can't feel if you r a new bee but being an Kashmiri I could say by looking it . another time try eatingwazwaan in a wedding in restaurants you can't find authentic wazwan as their primary motive is profit , else its wonderful Video

****Please dont get influenced by food influencers as food is a subjective item and may vary from people to people**** I have tried a lot of dishes of Kashmiri Wazwaan but personally didnt like it that much. As these dishes are made of sheep meat (not goat) the taste & aroma of the meat is different from mutton(goat meat) found in rest of India. Secondly, try these dishes only at the authentic restaurants in Kashmir orelse you may not get the same taste. Note : Sometimes food influencers do fake praising just inorder to increase their views and not hurt anyone's sentiments.

Sometimes in Kashmir they serve beef and don’t tell you. Make sure you check before you eat anything like mutton. Beef is cheaper. So.
