I always think that the B&Ms at Six Flags are always the loudest things ever! I'm glad parks like Dorney Park fill their roller coaster supports with sand to make the sound die out.

+Noam Azerad Well all the Batman The Ride clones are from B&M, but yeah since this one opened in 2008, it is much smoother. Good point. I mean they're all smooth, but this one is like much smoother.

+Noam Azerad Keep in mind, though, that it was originally constructed in 1995 at a park in Japan. Later in 2004, it was brought to Six Flags New Orleans as Batman the Ride. Eventually, having been recovered from Katrina, It was brought to SFFT in 2008. However, they probably smoothed out the track pieces and restored the trains when the ride was brought over.

This ride used to be at six flags New Orleans and it was the Batman ride there then Katrina hit that park and then they relocated the coaster to here

@LipeSheiKra It's actually very smooth and comfortable. The Batman the Ride layout was cloned so many times because it's a compact, easily replicated layout that works many track elements into a tight space. These rides are still among the better coasters at each of their respective parks two decades after the first one was installed. Great job!

Nice coaster. This one stands a little bit higer from the ground. You couldt know because this is the old Goliath at six flags New Orleans. That was hit by hurricane caterina. And so they moved it to SFOT. Bt still a power ride

@MrMcfat2 No giovanola was a steel company. That selld steel to B&M and Intamin.Giovanola builded also coasters them self: Goliath(SFMM) Titan(SFOT) and one inverted coaster with inversion's

if you want the shortest lines, go on a tuesday. i got on the poltergeist in 2 minutes and the superman in 5 minutes

@AllegroCrab, I don't know, maybe it's bust not as intense as some other coasters and there are many clones out there. Batman was my first, so i don't hate it

yeah, but hurricane Katrina hit the park and this ride was called Batman the ride then they relocated it because it was barely got damaged and named it Goliath.

I just don't understand why SF just won't call ALL OF THESE COASTER CLONES the same name. All coaster enthusiasts know this particular layout is the BATMAN so why not just be true to the layout and call it what it is everywhere?

It was in Hurricane Katrina in 2005 at Six Flags New Orleans. It was one of the only few salvageable attractions. Factors that contributed to it being salvageable include being made of corrosion resistant materials and being constructed high up off the ground, so it wasn't even submerged underwater to begin with. The same couldn't be said for most of the rest of the park. I should also note, this ride is almost 30 years old. It was built in 1995 in a Japanese amusement park. But the park closed down and Six Flags bought the ride from them. When they did, they put it in New Orleans, which they acquired a few years earlier. Then they moved it to Fiesta Texas in 2008 after Katrina.

I worked as a ride operator when this was still "Secret". Even though you couldn't hide he tracks in the back lot in plain sight. On another note, DON'T WORK AS A RIDE OPERATOR. Unless you are desperate...
