I love to see players that are so faithful to their characters. ZSS is so inconsistent, I feel like she is trying to lose while Marss is trying to win but he still can compite with her even when she has so many weird interactions that put him in a bad spot. Is just too good as a player

11:16 the grab that Kola did there was actually very smart ngl. Instead of launching Marss offstage like I and probably what most of us expected, he back throwed him instead which put Marss in a tech chase on platform, guaranteeing him the kill. I didn't even know Roy's back throw causes tech chases at high percents. Even the commentators expressed exactly that... Beautiful.

When a Mario, Bowser or Sonic player shows a flash of sapience 🤯 lol. Actually though, Roy is not as easy as he seems. Personally i've always thought of Roy as kind of overrated and for good reason. I think it is because Roy relies so much on aggression and pressure yet doesn't really have good tools in terms of defensive play.

Marss held in and down I think because he thought he was gonna get up thrown(the only throw that could maybe kill). And kola mixed his DI which led him to that platform.

I know Marss carries Zss hard, but seriously, the nerfs on zss need to be reversed. It’s late in the meta and players are DI’ing her combos with more ease than when the nerfs were introduced. It seems like overkill to me at this point in the game. Marss didn’t get a single nair flip kick conversion this whole set…

Generally the Japanese meta has more influence on balance changes in smash. There were several strong ZSS players there at the time, such as choco, shky, shion, etc

I feel like Kola is a good mu for Marss. Kola plays incredibly aggressively and fast paced, but Marss as a read-based player is pretty well equipped to out-predict Kola and put him on the back foot. And a Kola that feels like he can't play hyper-aggressive isn't as dangerous.
