Today i am showing an Gond Tribal Painting on an un-stitched piece of Glaze cotton fabric. So if you are interested in fabric painting and Indian filk art painitng then this video is for you.
Gond Art is a folk art, a tribal art created by the Gond tribe, one of the largest tribes in our country India, predominantly from Madhya Pradesh. Main theme of these paintings is Nature and man’s close connection with his natural surroundings. Gond people paint them as a form of respect and reverence.
In this video i have shown u the process of drawing this art on fabric in great details. i have shown easy technique of drawing this art and then step by step video of how to paint that design on a fabric. Also after painting i discussed about all the care instructions of hand painted fabrics or garments. I have also added the history and different unique feathers of this folk art.
