The pins for the railing are a pretty clever idea. I was sceptical about the paper street, but with some dirt and debris on it, I don't hate it at all. The little cypresses at the base of the building are the touch that brings it all together imo. Well done!

Eyyyy thanks for the shout out Jacob. I love the way you blend all the different materials in your terrain crafting you manage to make it all look very cohesive because of your painting and approach to weathering. Keep up the awesome work!

Really cool! Nice to see foam board being used - so many builds on Yourube use XPS, which is really hard to get in my area, so this is inspiring.

@@GRHobbieshave you found/tried the one sided stuff? The ones that only have paper on one side and the raw foam on the other. I’ve found it takes the detail and texture really well.

@@cormacd478 I haven't been able to find that type here in Canada, but it sounds awesome

@@GRHobbies there’s a channel called Black Magic Craft. He’s also Canada based and he’s spoken about getting one that you can peel the paper off in one of the dollar store chains. Possibly “dollar tree” but I’m just going off of memory.

great to see a fellow DIY builder, it looks great, you could have possibly ran a trim along the rough edges to tidy it up, but if i'm honest.. i don't usually do that either. I just score the rough edges and use my pen to dig in the brick lines a little deeper, i sort of like the rough edges. If you use a little gray/brown cheap (paint/water) wash and dirty up the bottom edges it adds to the lived in feel of it.

Great Work for such a new channel! One Thing: try pealing of the paperlayer on the foamboard on one side (the side you want to texture) That way the tinfoil is doing much more for you and the bricks are way easier to carve! Give it a try it changed my world ;P The ceaper the foamrboard the easier the pealing part is. So dollar store foamboard is great for that ;P If the paperlayer is stubborn you can use a bit of steam (pot of boiling water) and it is way easier! english is not my first language so please excuse the bad grammer ;P
