Drive Angry. Drive Angry is the single craziest movie I’ve ever seen and I love it for that. It’s utterly incredible. I cannot believe that Cage is actually the least over actory of the whole movie. Literally EVERYONE is over acting in it and he’s one of the most subdued. It even ends on a Meatloaf song. I adore it.

*Drive Angry* was one of the most bombastic, entertaining 3D films I've ever seen in theaters. The fact that it gave absolutely ZERO fucks about the fact that it was going to be over-the-top blowing things up in your face nonstop matched the over-the-top everything else that the movie had. I remember that my buddy and I went opening night, and were the only two in the theater, and we were in _TEARS_ of laughter and enjoyment at the sheer audacity of everything in this, because you can tell that everyone involved in the movie is having a fucking blast doing it. We left the theater knowing that there was no way you could ever successfully market this, especially after how *Grindhouse* significantly underperformed, but I've absolutely shown this movie to a good number of people and they've all loved it for the absolutely crazy ride that it is.

Didn’t even know it was a remake til a random check on Wikipedia Even if I was wayyy too young to comprehend the sex scene 😂 As for the other...I haven’t watched like any of Cage’s straight-to-dvd side adventures. Henry Kingi (El Scorpio) is one of my favorite people to spot in movies. He's a stuntman and, aside from henchmen, he does a lot of stunt driving. He's Tyrese's stunt driver in a couple of the Fast & Furious movies. He's Walton Goggins's hench-driver in Ant Man & The Wasp and you can spot him several times.

It was football, he played mostly for a team called Wimbledon. He was more of a thug than a player. Grabbing people's dongs and twisting etc. I think he holds the record for fastest time being sent off from the pitch

I've done a lot of movie extra work in New Orleans. And my mom and aunt were the ones who helped get the jobs and Drive Angry was out for two years before I knew I was technically in it. Ironically most scenes I've ever been an extra are deleted scenes but the stories of being in drive angry specifically are some of my favorite times being an extra.

As a massive car nerd, the only thing worthwhile in "Gone in 60 Seconds" was the cars. They were the real stars of the show, especially "Eleanor", the sexy as hell Mustang GT500. I was too young to drive back then but I wanted my own "Eleanor" more than I wanted my next breath.

I loved the remake of Gone in 60 Second, and it really has more to do with being a car guy. There are some incredible cars and frankly I know it was cheesy but it was fun.

Both these movies are for car people like my self. With both versions of gone in 60 seconds. People only care about how awsome the mustang is. Not about the plot. The same can be said for drive angry

The original gone in 60 seconds was awesome! They showed it in auto shop when I was in high school. Wouldn't get away with that these days.

Once watched gone in 60 seconds with sound muted all the way down and some random speedcore dj set blasting at the same time. It was quite an experience. The footage weirdly matched the music here and there.

I remember seeing an ad for Drive Angry, and it just seemed like one of those dozens of shitty B movies Cage starred in to pay his bills. Apparently I missed some glorious full Cage, lol.

One of the things I liked about Gone in 60 Seconds was the bits in Long Beach (my hometown), so thanks for pointing out that the original is partly set there as well!

The fuel truck scene was my favorite. Can't remember if it was the unrated version that had the song "That's The Way I Like It" with it too. William Fichner bobbing to the music driving the truck is the best.
