I do gongyo everyday with this beautiful recording. It saves me…it grounds me and prepares me for the entire day 🙏🙏🙏❤️ Thank you so much Mabel ❤️ this keeps me going 🙏 During my 25 years of chanting, Ive come to do it with my eyes closed so that I can feel the vibration as it enters my heart chakra and spreads across to my arms ❤️ Going inward, this way, like the Buddha did, has been most powerful for me 🙏 I am grateful for this recording which makes it even easier, and for you, every day 🙏

remember nam myo ho renge kyo is not the "spare wheel" that you pulled out when your life is in trouble, but it is a "steering wheel" that directs the right path throughout your life. When u chant more, u will have the Buddha wisdom to absorb this & make effort to do your Human Revolution daily. It's not easy. We can be uplifted today. Tomorrow when we are affected by external factor, we can drop into anger mood. Hence, chanting daily is to elevate our life state, bringing out our Buddha nature & potential to practice oneself & for others.

Arica L. Coleman, Ph.D. I agree with you. I am also a Christian that practices Buddhism. Because Buddhism is not a religion but a philosophy and a practice. I believe as long as we are seeking a higher place for our soul and Mind then we can get there through whatever way suits our spirit. Everyone is an individual so after 10 years of studying and being a minister in another religion I realized that it really doesn’t matter what label you put on it. Just that you do something everyday to raise your spiritual consciousness and connect to source.

To answer Joan Ixito, The purpose of chanting is to connect with the universe, through the vibration of our voice and the faith and sincerity in our hearts while we chant we send out our positive spirit of Daimoku out into the universe. There are Buddhists in 196 countries and at any time there are many Buddhists chanting this chant. We are all connected and are one with them and the universe. Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo. This helps you as you help others with this positive chant of faith flowing through the universe and your own body. The more you chant it can do wonders for your spirit and even your health.

Nichiren definitely gave us a philosophy, but SGI has worked hard at bringing people together as true friends in faith.. Its great to practice alone but its so much better if you could develop the compassion to help others & chant with them/ for them. Organisation may become an issue at times .. with ego clashes & difference of opinions but that’s where & how our human revolution begins!! Anyways.. since it’s voluntary.. there are no compulsions- important is that you stay happy & spread happiness! But without the organisation- I would have never got to know about this beautiful philosophy! Sensei Ikeda has answered all my questions about life! So I love the SGI & am forever grateful!

Thks so much for the beautiful background and the awesome meditation of Nam myoho renge kyo...I 'm have been practising for almost 18 years and introduced this practice to my family members and friends...absolute happiness in a peaceful and secure life in this lifetime while creating values in your life as well as for others.....give a try and ...you never know how sweet an apple is without taking the first step to chant the phrase facing the east early in the morning before going out to work to face the world....amazing and mystical....Love : Diana

Diana Tg How much time do you chant daily ?
@dianatang47267 жыл бұрын
Boeing777er hi , I chanted at least 1 hr in the morning from 6.00 -7.00 am and in the evening 15 mins to 30 mins everyday...how about you ?
@boeing777er77 жыл бұрын
Diana Tg Oh great. Actually I am not consistent in chanting. I chant only some days when I feel like chanting and that too for 10 minutes only. But I have felt the difference. This mantra has worked for me no doubt. I will try to chant as much as you do. Good to know that your life had been smooth. I am currently facing lots of turbulence in my life.

Grazie. Nam myoho renge kyo!

I have been doing this for 40 years. it is very powerful but remember to chant specifically. Not just a job but company, where, salary, days off etc. Not just a car but make, year, price etc. With the universe you never know how it is coming. I chanted for a car & won a contest. Nam Myoho Renge Kyo 4 ever!

I studied Nichiren Buddhism for a few months. Could not shake my belief in Jesus Christ, but there were no nicer people than all the folks I met while studying. Funny thing though as I grew older and Wiser, I developed an enlightenment and mind set that has a lot of Nichiren Buddhism beliefs and principles. It is like I understand things that most people cannot. As a result when I see ignorance, stupidity, pure evil, and the like, I look at it as a terrible handicap that can only be fixed with Wisdom. The problem is most folks are far too handicapped to be saved. But you must try to save them and love them all! Your blessings will come from you trying to help all folks.

I'm sad to learn that you thought Buddhism requires one to stop having other beliefs. That is specifically NOT part of Buddhism, in fact, Jesus WAS a buddha. His CORE TEACHING is identical to that of the Lotus Sutra: the same as karma. Christians call it the golden rule, buddhists call it karma. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE WHATSOEVER!! I studied ALL faiths for decades and guess what? they ALL teach this same core truth. Except Satanism, which is exactly the opposite: it's all about selfishness. All other faiths are about compassion. it's that simple! I am a Hebrew Christian Taoist Buddhist Universalist.

Nichiren Buddhism is a recognized religion. However, many people who embrace this philosophy are not Buddhists, and vice versa. Elevating yourself and your life condition to its highest potential and a higher realization of the Universal Laws is Buddhism.
