Gonzaga was so well coached when it came to handling Press Virginia. This wasn't one of GU's better teams, but coaching can make all the difference. Very happy to see 3 WCC squads qualify for the NCAA tourney.= this season. Any league that produces 3 NCAA teams, by definition, doesn't suck.

A couple of trivia undercurrents. Marquise Carter, who carried the Zags into March Madness (which they would have missed otherwise) the previous year, and won a first round game, was a bench warmer. He hurt his wrist the year before in the second round and never could find his sweet stroke. Meanwhile, frosh Ryan Spangler played solidly ... and transferred the next year to OK where he was an iron man rebounding machine.

Zags' Greatest Hits OK DZR... Little late here, but I am fully committed to doing the dirty work for you and allowing you to have the games if I can get the right stuff. Please tell me everything I need to get to get the games for you. Brand names and such would be appreciated. I am completely dumb about this stuff. I have directv, and can get most of them for you, and edit and everything. Do I have to have internet to do this? If so, I am unable to do this, if not, please tell me what you have, and I can send them to you. Also if you could give me prices on the stuff you do have to do this, please do that as well. Thanks

You should upload NDSU/Iowa/UCLA (2015), Oklahoma State (2014), Florida State (2010), Akron (2009), and Xavier and Indiana from 2006 if you have them.

Agree but don't have it. Stopped collecting / editing / uploading these years ago as it's a lot of work. I might have some deep cuts though on an old hard drive I never put up. Plenty of time nowadays for stuff like this...

Same outcome, different feel from when they met 5 years later. 2 Gonzaga wins, but complete opposites in terms of how they got there.

I remember this game. West Virginia gave one of the worst efforts I've ever seen in the NCAA Tournament. Simply pathetic!
