They are just refreshing miui with this new user interface. It is still based on Android 14. And small firmware size doesn't determine how smooth and responsive your os is. For example OneUi is 40+ gb and it still runs smoother than MiUi. The video is full of misinformation so just ignore iy

First things first , bhai firmware is an entirely different thing than the interactive os we are using in our phones , itne litely words ko use Mt Kiya Karo and second thing firmware is used on a very low level scale , it basically for tweaking the silicon chips directly Jo smartphones me to bhool hi jaao karna and jis cheez ko heavy aur light keh rhe ho yha pe wo Pura os hai eg. One Ui ,Hyper Os , etc , they are not low level softwares, they are interactive gui's designed on Android which is an open source platform developed by Google on Linux based code , so yeah anyway tldr.. The herculean task would be creating an app like play store in their os, and recruiting developers to build all the android/ios apps 😂 For processors I think the current existing companies would do the job (like Snapdragon for mi) I don't know if it is possible,but optimising the current sd chips would be more practical than building chipset form the scratch. Every companies should do this and many companies have the resources but they are not doing it idk why...😅
