the problem is that nobody tells to newbies the most important things which are that wrong settings may impact drastically battery life and range. imo its better to limit the speed to 70% of max speed which is actually 58 km/h in this case. this can make drastic change in range, especially to ones that like to push full throttle, and also in safety. after a week with this tool, i think that 40 km/h feels safe with this tool but 45-46 is a bit too much. and who knows what other mistakes the local dealer made with this settings. like put 60v instead of 48v

Yes, in fact it’s much better, it has a much more powerful motor, faster speeds and climbing capabilities as well as more torque and mileage

Hi I would like to ask you a couple of questions, I tried it for the first time and I noticed that putting it at 3 did not exceed 31 km per hour, may be why I should charge it for the first time? According to the wheels they seem swollen, say to make them swell a little more? I ask you because the handlebar dances a bit. then carrying it by hand I feel the rear brake discs slightly is this normal?

I'd go for entirely re-pumping the tires and making sure that they are well fitting. As for the speed - there are some display advanced settings and could be that there is a limiter set.

hello after the second day of use, when I take the backs or holes, from forward to the shock absorbers I hear a noise like "ploc" every now and then and I can not understand if it is the shock absorber or something else .. specific the scooter is brand new, did this happen to you?

I was able to hear high-pitch noise on mine too. I remember seeing this reported by others too. Should not be a big problem.

Cool review Michael on the KUGOO Kirin G2 Pro.... Super good your having plenty of fun in the sun riding the G2 Pro scooter... Was there enough room /space on the floorboard , say that your feet are not getting overly tired in the inline position...Can your feet stand together without sticking outward off the floorboard ? Nice addition of having front & rear coil shocks that actually work to absorb road bumps. Yes great talking point on the very low amount of torque for this scooter. Thanks and Stay Safe Ridin' Scooters !

Heey Tom, so great to see you back! Yes, there is enough room for the feet, and riding for longer periods of time feels OK too. It is a very comfortable to ride scooter, and excellent implementation of the suspension.

Do not buy it bro. If your weight is above 70 kilos, you will be cursing on every small uphill climb. And the deck looks small to me 4:58, I do not want to stand on back support all the time. If I wanted to, I would ride S1 for 250€, not this one. Cheers

I'd go for a scooter with good batteries - Samsung or LG sells. This narrows down the choice.

Having shock absorbers is always nice. I haven't tested the Kqi3, so hard for me to compare. The Kukirin model is a very good one.

Good specs and price on paper, really like the daul suspension but the motor torque and range you got seems very inefficient given the big battery makes it less desirable choice. Great review as usual, never afraid to point out weaknesses, keep it up

Hey Ivo, thanks a lot for the kind comment. Yeah, I was also a little confused by the range. Perhaps it varies from unit to unit. The batteries are made by a company I hear for the first time, so this is likely the main reason.

You need to go to the advanced motor settings and lift the limiter. Check the user manual or get in touch with Kugoo Kirin's support.

Is the weight of this scooter correct? Per Kugoo, it came in at 26.7kg / 58.8lbs, but you said that it's at 32kg?

Heey, warmest greetings to Austria! I think the scooter is fine in wet conditions. I often ride in the mornings, after a rainy night, and this one was fine, except for a little dirt that you'll get.

Can't find 9 in tires in case I need to replace them, I did find some 8.5 in tires with street tread for xaomi. 365pro that may or may not fit. I suspect this motor is the same as the 300 watt scooters with a higher output controller, if so it may get hot quicker going uphill and shorten the life of the motor, perhaps they beefed up the components in the motor to perform at higher wattage, but still no tires unless you want to risk an 8 in or 8.5 tire to fit. So, I like all the other features except that but until I find out otherwise about the tires and motor it's a no for me. I tried to inquire to kigoo but no response, and they advertise selling only 10 in tires. Too bad, maybe next time they'll get it right.

One or the other may work or maybe not I'd rather know for sure before i buy, I just couldn't find anything spec wise for 9 in tires. I suspect it has an inside dim of an 8 in tire and the extra height of the knobbys gives it an od of 9 in. Most likely that is. A 10 in tires I.d. is probably too big to fit on the rim if my suspicions are right.

Thanks for helping, I've ended my research on scooters, I ended up exchanging my my hover 1 on an extended warranty at best buy, for a segway g30p max, and my boy l8ked that so much, I sold his and bought a inmotiom s1. We're set for a while but thanks. If i should ever need tires for them, 10 in should be easier to find.

@@edmondbrown2730 So Kukirin is the new brand name and Kugokiron is the old name. I contacted the support team and they told me that the scooter in the video is the "older" model and it has been discontinued. (you can see on the scooter is says kugokirin and not kukirn and the video title also says kugokirin). For some reason they changed brand names and also made changes to the scooter, one of changes being the the display. So if you have the "kukirin" model then you have the updated one.

Two nits: You seem to have run the tyres under-inflated, and the helmet chinstrap isn't a fashion statement, it is integral to keeping the helmet in-place during impacts -- way too loose, and sets a bad safety example unfortunately.

720 Wh, or if you want W.h or W*h or Wxh, simply it is watt multiplied by an hour (the sign of multiplication is very often omitted), so its NOT W/h (watt per hour) !!! That is because Ws (wattsecond) = J (so its unit of energy). W/s means power change in time, not energy !

First off all u can't put tubeless on this scooter, second the key dosen't prevent the scooter to be stolen it only stops u driveing it, but u can steel walk with it.

When I drove with mine on a wet road - it was a terrible experience. My back ,was all wet since the rear mudguard doesn't protect your body from water coming from the back wheel. Huge disappointment.

I KNOOOWW TRUST ME I KNOW The mudgaurd on my 800 watt scooter always had my backpack wet and it was so annoying having to dry off afterwards, but I guess thats the burden of owning a scooter. In the future just try to avoid wet roads as much as possible. I have yet to ride this one in the rain but being in Florida its inevitable😂. cheers

@@TechMishka i driven 370km on mine, my wife 257km stil scream we live in valencia spain. but els its most comf Scooter for 745 euro i driven i had feve and tested many not most powerfull but in valencia driven it allover and love and recomend it.
