The beauty of podcasts is that they are timeless, we can listen over and over again. BIG thanks for bringing this subject as there is still this huge taboo around it. My father passed away almost 4 years ago and at a certain point society wants you to move on which is right but we all need time to ourselves to process, and time to talk about it. It’s all about balance and I am so aware that one day I die too but society does not want you to be clear about it. Social media has produced such a fake world which breaks my heart. It’s all about being young, fun, pleasure. Life is much more than that 🙏❤️

Just lost my Mother a year ago & my Father 2 months ago. Thank you for sharing this. Plus, as a Kundalini yoga practitioner, accepting the death of the Community as it was as it evolves into the new, and I know that has also been a part of Guru Singhs experience lately too.

When you are in the midst of the grip it's impossible to see these things. Your not supposed to. Much gratitide for the observation that it is whatever it will be. There's no wrong way to hurt. I work with organ donor families. Like Guru's daughter, not everyone is frozen in their grief. Many healing things come from a heart that opens during tragic times. Hugs to everyone and blessings for peace with each and everyone... it's your story.

Death has been a constant companion, with multiple losses of family and friends since I was 10. What you say is very right, Rich, in terms of our society's disconnect from pain and suffering, whitewashing everything with 'positivity' and speeding through discomfort, all the while missing out on profound wisdom and enlightenment.

Thank you for sharing! I came to the realization that I am being guided to become an End of Life Doula and have started my training/volunteering. My husband shared this video with me as he is a fan of yours and was watching another one of your videos, stumbled on this and sent my way. The timing of the share was true synchronicity. Thank you both.
