We apologize for all of our new video recording skills, we will keep trying to get better, So we looked it up and there are about 21000 tiles on the Starship. Launch window is between 8:28 and 9:30 CST.
Link to the mission image is available on Spacex's website. There is also a live stream and schedule.
Good luck SpaceX this morning! We are hoping for a successful test of this new rocket system.

Seeing in person was hard to see what happened in the end, video after made it clearer.

Hey, I would just like to point out a couple mistakesI made. 1. For some reason I said around 100,000 re-entry tiles, this number just came out. The real number is closer to 21,000. 2. When I said off the coast, In comparison to the sheer size of the starship and Hawaii, 30 miles is very small. There are a couple other discrepancies I have not mentioned. Remember this video was not scripted and planned, so mistakes will be made. Thanks again Jack

I think if it lands in the Pacific it will be 100,000 of tile pieces! lol

Is Starship an actual ship that is intended for human and payload transport? Is the ship that is going up today just a shell?
@RocketVan
@RocketVan Жыл бұрын
That was just a powered test article. There was no payload on this one. It was an exciting show!

@@RocketVan I was wondering where the debris ended up and how far the rocket actually got. It would suck if it came down on a populated area.
@RocketVan
@RocketVan Жыл бұрын
It would, I'm sure there is a debris field given from SpaceX or other associated organizations. I would be interested to see a map.
