Good News for Intermediate and Equivalent Pre-Medical Students
All Bachelors Programs of Department of Computer Science are offered for FSC Pre-Medical students.
National Computing Education & Accreditation Council (NCEAC) of HEC has approved the admissions in Computing programs for those students who have done intermediate education (FSC or equivalent) in Pre-Medical with minimum of 50% marks. These students are required to pass deficiency courses of Mathematics of 6 credit hours within 1 year of their regular studies. The deficiency courses should cover most of the relevant topics to Bachelor Degree in computing education from intermediate level of Mathematics.
We congratulate the students who have done intermediate education (FSC or equivalent) in Pre-Medical with minimum of 50% marks that they can now take admission in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/ Software Engineering /Artificial Intelligence programs at SS-CASE-IT in this special Spring 2020 semester. No need to appear in Board intermediate level (FSC or equivalent) exams to clear their mathematics courses. You can directly take admission in computing programs.
What you need to do:
Pre-Medical students will be admitted in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/ Artificial Intelligence /Software Engineering as per their choice/merit from Special Spring 2020 semester.
The students enrolled in this semester will be taught 6 credit hours deficiency Mathematics courses as directed by HEC covering most of the relevant topics to Bachelor degree in Computing based on intermediate level education (FSC or equivalent) of mathematics in the first semester.
Note that these students don’t need to appear in Board intermediate level (FSC or equivalent) exams to clear their mathematics courses. The two mathematics courses taught in first semester will make them eligible to continue their education in computing courses from Fall 2020 semester as per HEC directives thus saving their time.
