Ah, this game. It was my childhood too, only difference is that the year isn't 2003, but 2007. I absolutely love the glitch where the AI jump the start and it messes up their brakes, so they just plow straight on into the barriers at full speed. Nostalgia hit me real hard watching this video.

IMO by far the best F1 game ever made. Believe it or not, but we still have a community with a couple of leagues still running. Can't let such a classic go even after almost 20 years.

Not only you can change points system, you can also change tyre value, front & rear wing, engine etc list goes on. Its still the best game even now.

The F1 2001 footage just gave me huge flashbacks. Just looking at the Jaguar brings back so many memoris. I loved playing F1 with my Hotwheel Cars and the Jaguar was my all time favorite. Everytime I watched F1 with my dad I hoped there will win.

Man the menu button click sounds, the British commentator giving background stories while the track is loading, the TR dude reporting everything happening, it's so much nostalgia and seriously the best racing game I've ever played my whole life!!

I used to play F1 2006 on PS2 even 15years later because of the good old V8 sound, the live commentators, the manual pitstops, the crowd cheering when you pass near the grandstands. And the fabulous Renault R26

Still playing F1 2002. That game is still really realistic, even 20 years flew like hell.

THIS GAME IS MY CHILDHOOD!!! I've played this game for two or three years, on my first computer, when I was little. I can't describe how much I've loved it, and a couple months ago I couldn't resist and I've downloaded it on my actual computer. It's always good to play it, it's hands down my favourite F1 game ever.

Dude you made me laugh sooooo much, brought me so much memories! I remember I was a huge fan of Ralf Schumacher and I fixed some inner settings in the driver profile so that he could win and my pleasure back there was just to change the camera and watch a virtual race seeing him winning all the time lmao, even creating a table of the results! What a time! Thank you dude!

This game is very nostalgic, I still remember when my father introduced me to the F1 Challenge 99-02 game when I was around 8 years old after playing this game a lot I became a Formula One fan

I think it would be awesome if Codemasters released an F1 2014-2020. The fact that you could actually choose between various seasons was what made it my favourite game

I distinctly remember driving almost exclusively on Monaco or Spa, driving always in chase cam, abusing the feature that allows you to see other drivers' perspective midrace just to look at myself while I was racing from the view of the guy behind me. I don't why but I loved to do that. I have nothing but good memories from this game.

Ah f1 challenge 99-02 a true classic as a kid i too spent a lot of time with my dad in this game and i go back sometimes go back for the nostalgia

Omg, I laughed so hard! I’ve been playing this game for the last 3 years, and you just mention all the bugs and absurd moments that I faced practically every race. Btw, although the interface is not so convenient (especially the esc button), I still find it to be more competitive and challenging than F1 2020 (that I also like, but not so much) Anyway, I woke up my neighbours because of the laugh!

I remember play this when I was a kid and literally jump into the race without making any practice and start before everyone to break Ferrari's car wich always were on 1st and 2nd place... Doing that I placed myself from last to first on 3 seconds... Good ol' memories

Man I loved this game. I used to mod the shit out of it. I'd download the RH2005 pack and then just create a complete fantasy season with made up teams with weird ass driver lineups. Good times.
