Exactly, slow and steady wins water crossings. Even better if I was to live in that area that flooded a lot, a Hilux with a snorkel kit would be my mode of transportation.

Why does that country intentionally flood cars? Is it difficult to judge the situation? If I can't pass that road, will my driver's license be revoked? Are all flooded car sellers evil? I want to know!!

The exhaust system wil fill with water and go inside the engine

@luisalthaus7249 The exhaust ports in the cylinders only open when the piston is on the exhaust stroke. The exhaust will get water in it, but not enough to cause any problem. It won't get into the engine that way even when reversing. The air intake is where the water gets into the engine.
