It is interesting that all those couple needed to do was talk and realize they have so much more in common than they realized. Gabriel & Beelzebub were shown meeting and talking and vavoom. Nothing else needed. So I think giving an opportunity for demons and angels to actually get to know each other, might be the key.

It's what I always said- being the paragon of an angel, of what he has always been, Aziraphale simply couldn't pack up all his stuff and "go off together". Because the entire universe is a creation of Heaven! After their 25 Lazarii miracle, the Metatron knew Aziraphale and Crowley had to be separated, so even IF Crowley and Aziraphale ran away together, they couldn't be free. Heaven would find them. Only an evolution will make a real difference...

Love the video! Aziraphale is often saying that it's always about the humans making a choice to be good. And Crowley is always showing him why the choices aren't fair depending on your station in life.
@fairywingsonroses
@fairywingsonroses 7 ай бұрын
I think this goes back to the main argument about why choosing sides is pointless. So many choices in life are not inherently good or evil. There is no right or wrong. There is only a choice to be made and the aftermath that follows. We see this a lot in the series, but the episode with the body snatchers really drives the point home. We see the conflict that arises when Aziraphale initially condemns stealing bodies, but he changes his mind when he finds out they are being used to conduct research that will save lives. We also see him do a complete 180 when he starts out by saying that Elsbeth has soooo many opportunities to "be good" because she is poor, but in the end, he just gives her enough money to create a good life for herself because it's infinitely easier, better, and less complicated than hoping that her "good" choices take her to a better place on their own. This episode in particular shows why choosing sides is not only damaging, but it's also pointless in the end. I love how this idea that not choosing sides is so powerful throughout the series.

Just another thing I recently noticed, since we've been encouraged to keep digging... When Crowley is telling Jimbriel about Operation Lovebirds, Nina is serving coffee to two men sitting at a table outside. The one to the left is wearing a yellow floral button-down shirt and suspenders. He also has white hair. The one on the right wears a black jacket, red plaid shirt, a watch, a gray hat, and black glasses. It just reminded me of a certain couple 😊

Sendarya I think you are on to something BIG. I am by no means an expert, but I'm going to throw this out there and hope that someone else can pick up the ball and run with it. The sword between our couple (justice), and the skeleton behind them(death), triggered something in my brain and then it started ticking more boxes, like God playing 3 card Monty, Adam and Eve (lovers) also Aziraphale and Crowley, Madame Tracy (empress) Anathema(priestess), Adam (magician), Muriel (fool), Gabriel (hierophant), The Metatron (emperor), Bentley (chariot), Crowley (hermit), Aziraphale (devil), Heaven and Hell (the tower) etc. These are all Major Arcana for Tarot cards! Please someone who knows more than me analyze the heck out of this. I know people are going to look at Aziraphale (devil) and think "Uh, NO." but the devil card symbolizes playfulness, pleasure and addiction or if flipped, freedom, release and restoring control. The cards don't mean what the name denotes. For example, the tower card, which if Heaven and Hell occupy the same building in the GO universe, it's a big tower, means "Upheaval, Disaster and a Foundational shift". The other suits for cards are cups, swords, wands and pentacles/coins. All of it means something, I just don't know what.

Yes! Okay, so let's look at it like the cards are telling their story: so we start with *The Fool (0),* which I see as Crowley asking the first questions and starting down his path (thereby starting Aziraphale down _his_ path, and setting everything into motion). *The Magician (1)* is a message that all they really need can already be found inside them, although they don't know it yet. *The High Priestess (2)* tells us to listen to people like Agnes Nutter, who are following their intuition and instinctively know best. I will then say the following: that *The Empress (3)* represents God (mother of all), *The Emperor (4)* represents The Metatron, and *The Hierophant (5)* (head of the religious establishment) represents Gabriel. I would like to point out that, in this way, Agnes (High Priestess) is next to God (Empress), as though God is behind Agnes's prophecies, whereas Gabriel (Hierophant) is following The Metatron (Emperor). This would go along with the idea that The Metatron _thinks_ he's playing one game with Heaven while God is actually playing a bigger game with everyone. So, then we have *The Lovers (6),* which often represents dealing with the temptation to be with someone you aren't certain if you should be with (who does _that_ remind you of? lol). *The Chariot (7)* is all about committing yourself to the path you have now chosen. This could represent Crowley and Aziraphale's dedication to each other after the Job incident and throughout the millennia, but also more recently their decision to try and stop the end of the world. The *Strength (8)* card indicates needing to exercise qualities like patience (Crowley) and diplomacy (Aziraphale) in order to achieve your goals. *The Hermit (9)* indicates that some introspection needs to be done. They already know the right answers, but (especially in Aziraphale's case) may need to take some time to listen to their own voice rather than the voices around them. Adam brings about the *Wheel of Fortune (10)* (the beginning of a new cycle in which progress can be made). *Justice (11)* was served when Aziraphale, Crowley and Adam all kept a calm, rational mind and out-witted the hot-headed forces of Heaven and Hell. This then caused Gabriel and Beelzebub to become *The Hanged Man (12):* looking at things from a whole new perspective and sacrificing their original goals/sides to be with each other. Unfortunately, this brings us to the *Death (13)* card: the inevitable end of something we would rather cling to, but which needed to end in order for our story to progress. As Neil has said, the ending of Season 2 was necessary in order to get us to where we need to be at the start of Season 3, which means our boys had to break all our hearts and each other's with them in order for things to move forward. Now, the *Temperance (14)* card again reminds us to have patience, and that through compromise and cooperation, we can balance things out. Opposing forces have to work together in order for this to work. *The Devil (15)* in this case can represent feeling enslaved to a higher power, as well as being deceived by them (not just Aziraphale to Heaven/The Metatron, but also Crowley to fate/time). *The Tower (16)* represents the faulty foundations upon which Heaven and Hell's beliefs were built, and so the tower ultimately must fall. Only after its destruction can we finally look within and believe in _ourselves_ *(The Star (17))* and allow our dreams and truest desires the chance to become reality. In order to do this, we have to first overcome the deceptions and false assumptions we've operated under *(The Moon (18))* so that we may finally triumph *(The Sun (19)).* The *Judgement (20)* card sees our characters (protagonists and antagonists alike) reaping what they've sown, and the seeds of things planted long ago finally beginning to bloom. We see a revival of things we thought were gone for good, and a new, fresh, happy start. Our journey has been long, filled with ups and downs, but there was never a question in our minds where it was going. For no matter where their paths have taken them, Aziraphale and Crowley have always found themselves coming back to one place over and over again: to the place where they could be together. The place where they slowly fell in love. In the end, despite all labels, despite their differences, their challenges and their flaws, their hearts have always lead them back to each other. They will always lead them back, ultimately...to *The World (21).*

I like the part about the 'world ending' being part of s2 or not. There's perhaps too many shows about preventing the world ending. And the stakes are always absolute. Here we got almost an intermission, laying out story and plot until in s3 the stakes might be high once again (or entirely prevented by our favorite duo). And I don't mean intermission as being less interesting, instead we got so many developing storylines, so many possibilities for both Crowley and Aziraphale to develop into. I think Neil Gaiman mentioned something about (not a direct quote, but more or less:) ideas for s3 already having existed after the book came out, and that in actuality s2 is kind of needed to make s3 happen properly. That's why I like your analysis so much. Gabriel and Beelzebub's escape didn't stop anything, just postponed it for a while. And at the end of s1 the idea of 'us against all of them' is probably very much still part of it. Sometimes I believe that we may be overlooking the 'free will' element , and my suspicion is that it will have a much bigger role in s3 to allow a positive outcome. That's the big thing about humans after all, the whole free will thing. And I think that angels and demons MUST have it too, otherwise Brielzebub couldn't have happened. There is just some growth needed for that, perhaps in the form of recreational dance... :3

I was struck by your suggestion that Crowley and Aziraphale must somehow bring down Heaven and Hell without destroying the angels and demons who inhabit them. Because isn't that the issue facing all of us, poor struggling humanity, how to put an end to the toxic systems that strangle life and joy, without annihilating the people just trying to get by within those systems? Again and again Pratchett and Gaiman bring us to the very heart of existence. If you are right, Sendarya (and I bet you are), C and A have to solve the most fundamental question of all: how do we humans live together without destroying one another? Perhaps Aziraphale, who likes just enough order, and Crowley, who adds just enough change, and the two of them combined, bringing a great, deep Love, have the answer and can pull it off? Oh I hope so. Thanks again for your insightful analysis, and also for the link to the beautiful slow kiss video. Everybody - if you haven't watched it yet - take a look. It's gorgeous!

Love this video! Even though Crowley's first instinct is to run, he likes humans too much to actually end up doing it. What would be the point? He'd be alive, sure, but he wouldn't be enjoying it. His enjoyment derives mostly from his interaction with Aziaphale and humanity. Aziraphale is a rock in the stream of change until Armagedn't; from his fashion sense to his use of out-dated colloquialisms, he stands in that stream trying to divert the course of the changes. He's going to have to employ his steadfastness and his capacity for making outlandish leaps like possessing Madam Tracy in order to finagle the non-ending next time.

Yes, though Crowley also needs to do some healing and have some growth. He still has a chip on his shoulder from being rejected by Heaven, and he still has some growing to do because his solution to his problems is always to run away or to mask or deflect, and that's something he can't do if he wants to have a healthy relationship, not just with Aziraphale, or the world he wants to live in, but with himself. Aziraphale has growing to do, but there's something Crowley can learn from him: his determination to face the bigger problems head-on, as we see him constantly doing by trying to reach out to those in charge of Heaven and (feebly) attempting to change their minds. He may not understand that his attempts are falling on deaf ears, but at least he's trying and not giving up on Earth. No shade on Crowley, but he was ready to abandon it and and was begging Aziraphale to just run off with him, while Aziraphale was still determined to fix things. I think Aziraphale needs Crowley's mind in order to really solve the problem, but Crowley needs Aziraphale's determination to always fight for good. Crowley _cares_ about the world, but doesn't have Aziraphale's determination. Aziraphale wants to change the system, but doesn't have Crowley's knack for causing trouble.

I very much like your analysis. I see close relationships as dances, and over the course of years the steps have to change to keep those involved together. When one partner changes, the other has to adjust or the dance is over. One of the things that has attracted me to Good Omens is the way that we are shown the change in the demon/angel relationship over time. Aziraphale seems to be attracted to Crowley from their first meeting before Crowley falls. I really wonder how powerful in his own right Crowley is - I noticed that in the meeting during the cosmos creation, Aziraphale felt it necessary to introduce himself. Crowley did not - which says to me that he assumed everyone already knew who he was (although I suppose he could have been distracted by the creation or just plain rude as a lot of the higher angels seem to be.) I did notice that the bands on their sleeves are at different places with Crowley's being higher - perhaps a marking of rank? Aziraphale is not quite sure how to react when he meets Crowley again at the Garden of Eden. That is when I think Crowley first really notices and likes Aziraphale (he could not believe Aziraphale gave up the flaming sword and that thinking outside the rules impressed him.) After that we watch their relationship grow and change - each one adjusting to the other as necessary to keep their connection intact. I think it is obvious that Crowley and Aziraphale are committed to each other. The current situation at the end of S2 strikes me as (like often happens in human relationships) an argument about career goals. Aziraphale can't bring himself to pass up the power and the promotion and asked Crowley to go with him. I really don't think Aziraphale has figured out what his job responsibilities are going to be and he probably thinks he will have enough power to change the plans. I think he has a tough road in front of him because he does care about the world and he is about to be asked to assist in its destruction. I am very concerned for Aziraphale because of your earlier post about Crowley possibly being the scapegoat sent into the wilderness. Does that make Aziraphale the sacrificial goat? I hope that motif is not followed here! But those swords in Aziraphale's back that you mentioned are worrisome for sure! Something is surely wrong with this job offer. Why give an angel on the outs with heaven such a powerful position? Bureaucracies just don't work like this.
@Sendarya

Great observations and excellent points! Thank you. Aziraphale is surely in for a hard road. And why give him that position at all, except to keep him right under their thumb? What's that old phrase, keep your friends close and your enemies closer? I agree about the sacrificial goat, though. Not sure how literal that's going to be. It does make me worry even more for Aziraphale. I'm sure Neil would just tell us Wait and See, lol.

I love how Neil shows the theme of opposites by hinting throughout the whole show that the 2 opposing “sides” are really not that different after all. It shows us that the things that divide us are often made up by other people and we can accomplish so much more when we come together. Great analysis here, completely agree with all your points. Lovely video. Worth the wait until the end of my week to watch it. - I love that Crowley and Azriaphale have step toward each other, step back, and change places -to see what the other sees. I wonder what it means that Crowley didn't want to dance, (comfortable where he is, Aziraphale drags him to the dance floor ) but Aziraphale is literally the ONLY angel that dances, at all. That feels significant because we now know he's not even the only angel to fall in love with a demon. I love how you said now they must step away - where it was Crowley who was always moving and changing it is Aziraphale who must go - and he is going to have to change as well, some of the foundational pieces of his identity and his ties to heaven to make those changes. I also think you're right about Crowley not being able to run away as easily as he hopes he could - that he's always stayed because he couldn't get Aziraphale to go with him but from the whales, gorillas, kids, to the goats, to children - Crowley has made the case for protecting innocents and I don't think he really can leave and just watch the world burn the way he pretends he can. Thank you for the link to the slowed down video of the fan art kiss. It's even more amazing slowed down.

This video managed to pull together a bunch of disparate thoughts I'd had floating around in my head about this show and put them into a framework that points at these deeper meanings. I have sort of intuitively felt for awhile like the final resolution was going to have to involve a big "everybody coming together" moment-not just humanity against Heaven and Hell, like Crowley predicted, but angels AND demons AND humanity all coming together to tear the entire thing down. But this video actually articulates all the elements in the story that seem to be pointing to that outcome.

A question I asked Neil on tumblr a while ago and haven’t got an answer to yet is: >> in „Before the Beginning“ when both Azi and Crowley are holding the scroll and it gets activated, there are PURPLE lines flowing through the drawing! Purple like the powerful not-even-trying-miracle to hide Gabriel. And as soon as Crowley let’s go and only Aziraphale holds it, the lines turn blue, Aziraphales color. So did they subconsciously create the Nebula together? And that’s what made it so big and beautiful in the first place? To all of you: Could this be a clue that Aziraphale and Crowley, when it’s not subconscious but fully intentional, are capable of creating a whole universe? Including the small planet in the intro of season 2, what could this mean for the end of season 3?

One thing I'd desperately like to know about Aziraphale's ball is if the conversation between Nina and Maggie happening at the same time as the conversation between Aziraphale and Crowley? Because you can see them dancing together in the background while Nina and Maggie are talking. If they're not talking at the same time, then the demons outside weren't so important that Crowley couldn't wait a minute before bringing it up. I'm not saying it exists, but if it did, I think we all need an additional scene of them dancing together and looking at each other longingly, kind of like we got the lockdown video. I don't know what can be done. Just openly hoping for something like that to help get us through. I think we all deserve it. And I can't see that there could be any dialogue between these two characters in The interim like the Lockdown video. It probably can't happen, but I just like to think of Crowley enjoying the dance for a few minutes, and get to actually spend some time knowing he's making his angel really happy by dancing with him. I feel it's sad and a little unfair that Aziraphale told Crowley he loved him first, he just did it subtlety by asking him to dance and Crowley didn't notice because of the demons. But Aziraphale said to Crowley he believes it "works every time" to get people to fall in love.

@theonlylunchbox mentioned Crowley's homelessness and this is something I've wondered about. Has he been living in his car for three years? Did A invite him to stay at the shop? Would C have accepted if he did? What has Crowley been doing all the time that A hasn't called on him for one of the 3 reasons C mentions.
@theonlylunchbox
@theonlylunchbox 7 ай бұрын
@@cynthiaroush5180 people are split on how much time they're spending together since the pandemic but I think it's a lot of time. The three reasons crowley mentioned that Aziraphale calls him are he's bored, nothing's happening, something good, or something bad happened. That covers like pretty much anything. I think they're spending a lot of time together at the bookshop. In episode 1 the first time we see Crowley get out of the car he starts to walk across the street to the book shop and then realizes he's already in front of the like he just goes to the bookshop everyday under muscle memory. There fan feelings about how Neil has said Aziraphale doesn't know Crowley is homeless, and some people feel he's not even listening in the last scene when Crowley says he's living in his car. I however I think he figured it out, and is trying to make crowley as comfortable as possible in the bookshop every day. Neil did not specify that he wasn't told he said he doesn't but I think he could have figured it out based on the moving plants and other Clues. And I really think it makes sense for this season and the theme of their communication that Crowley didn't tell aziraphale because he thought he would be invited into the bookshop and that would make Azriaphale uncomfortable so he just didn't tell him. And Aziraphale figured it out but didn't acknowledge it or confront him on it because he thought he was respecting Crowley's reasons for secrecy. So there's this big unacknowledged problem between them and they both feel like they're respecting each other by not talking about it, but that's just my theory.

Wow. Just wow. So much to think about! I'd already long ago come to the conclusion that sides were a silly thing - that what we should always be seeking with one another is the dance of questions and answers, and the give and take of compromise. I'd come to that place long before even reading the book. It's what killed my Orthodox Roman Catholicism. There was no room for dissenting opinions, no room for compromise. If there had been, I would most likely still be devout. But like Crowley, I had too many questions, and those questions led me to behaviours that should I confess them to my erstwhile church, I would surely be excommunicated. So I took myself out (sauntered vaguely, well, somewhere) before they could drive the knife in. I still miss the rituals, there was something powerful there that I had only just begun to grasp - but I couldn't sell my soul for those rituals. I kept the tissues handy watching this one. So many excellent points such as the benefits of cooperation vs competitive power games, the description of Crowley’s patience and teaching skills, Azi/Crowley working together, the analysis of the dance, the observation that angels and demons have been sorted into opposing camps by the powers that be. As much as it hurts, the time they spend apart could be an opportunity for additional growth as you noted. Why, for instance, does the angel name himself A. Z. Fell? In what way is he fallen? Because he gave away the flaming sword? Thwarted the will of god? Because he’s “soft”? (BTW, a synonym for dim is soft according to an online thesaurus.) I hope Azi learns to throw off all the bullying negative descriptions he’s heard over the course of his existence: from Nazis “gullible,” from Heaven, “pathetic excuse for an angel,” and “stupid mouth,” even 😢 from the being who loves him “ridiculous,” “stupid,” “idiot.” I hope Azi learns to stand firmly for his own moral code and for being “pure of heart.” BTW again, if you want to add to your four-page list 😬 and if it works for you, the husbands seem to have repetition compulsion going on with regard to Crowley’s banishment from Heaven and all those breakups.

The Metatron turns and moves too smoothly, as if he were one of those figures and the camera movement on Aziraphale is similar. My assoziations are: everything is set into motion. It's the eleventh hour. Also it ties in with your analysis of the dance between Aziraphale and Crowley, as now Aziraphale is moving away from Crowley, kind of around the Metatron and will hopefully end up with Crowley again. He'd planned to tell Aziraphale he loved him - as he starts, to before Azi breaks in with his news - then I think he hoped for a good response and planned to whisk them both off to the Ritz in the Bentley, for the 'Extraordinarily alcoholic breakfast' to celebrate,, complete with romantic music, He'd made sure he could be alone with Azi, sent Muriel away, told Nina and Maggie it was 'Not a good time' for them to be there. Of course not, he wanted to be alone with Aziraphale. But then came the news about Heaven and the new job, so he never got the chance. At the beginning I wasn't that sure if I like Good Omens that much, to be honest I can say now that I didn't understand much, but characters were so relatable and lovely, that it quickly became my comfort show. Now, after so many analysis that much brighter people like yourself share, I can appreciate better this beautiful masterpiece and I've truly come to be hyperfixated by its details. Thanks for such a wonderful work!

I hope you read this 💜 dear@@Sendarya "It's an interestingphenomenon" It is! It wasn't like I didn't like it, but it was confusing by moments. But Zira and Crowley's dynamics are so cozy, I couldn't stop watching. 💜 I think there IS a point! How can balance exist if there's only one side? I was rambling about the Physics concept of balance, (I have a point later sorry if it takes long to achive it) in my language that word can be translated as two different words that are synonyms, but also different concepts, balance (as the spanish word for "equilibrio", I've found the word "equilibrium" as a translation, but I'm not sure if it fits) is refer to the physical ability of a body to maintain ALL its structures by carrying out forces that fight against each other, so that the body remains balanced and to overcome gravity, while the second concept ("balance" in spanish too) is the movement that a body makes when it leans to one side and the other, or forward and backward, up and down, is the dynamic movement. In English it souds so redundant, I'll try to explain it deeper, but it is a grammar nightmare to translate this concepts. I hope I don't make it even harder to understand. To simplify, in spanish "equilibrio" also means a very stable balance, while "balance" is the action of adding or taking weight to get "equilibrio"/a very stable balance, but if you go to a translator it would translate both as the same word. (See? Grammar nightmare). As I understand, God and Satan are the forces pulling and pushing from the sides, moving things up and down back and forward, unbalancing everything in an attempt to win their argument, and earth is the midground (the battlefield, it seems too) in this fight, while Aziraphale and Crowley have always stand in the inflection point, (they come and go but mainly they are) where everything converges. They have come all the way from their sides and reached the middle point, and they have danced around each other in a waltz that leads them to understand each other, to be in each other's place, and also understanding humanity, that is standing at the same place as them (I mean Earth). I really like the analogy that David Tennat has said about Aziraphale and Crowley, they are Ying and Yang. And ultimately I feel like that is their mission, unlike humans, Aziraphale and Crowley have power, they might be the force that counterbalances the actions of heaven and hell. That's why it's so important for Metatron to separate them. I like to picture it as if it all was an antique measuring scale, where heaven and hell are the weight pans on each side, God and Satan are the very weight in their respective sides, Earth is the central support point, humanity is the beam working as the axis that moves with the inertia of the weight placed at each pam, and our Ineffable duo are the force that balances the scale everytime it goes unbalanced. This is my theory about the Ineffable Plan. We talked about "balance" and "equilibrio", to me God, Devil, Heaven and Hell are the forces of chaos upon existence, chaos on the right (good) and on the left (evil), unbalancing the everything, Aziraphale (in all good there's some evil) and Crowley (in all evil there's some good) are counterbalance, dancing around right and left, spinning around in their cosmic waltz, balancing the scale (they are balance and counterbalance, Ying and Yang, the dynamic movement). And the Ineffable Plan is everything as a whole, is balance (equilibrio) achived by the forces maintaining ALL its structures by carrying out forces that fight against each other, so that the everything remains balanced and to overcome destruction. "What's the point of it all? Demons, angels". The point is Balance. Balancing (adding and taking weight from each side) the forces playing with the cosmo and keeping existence balanced (stable, en equilibrio). Or as Michael would say "keep the status quo static and, uh, quoey". I believe that Aziraphale and Crowley are God's insurance plan to keep everything spinning, to preserve the divine creation. Also I think God shipped them from the beginning too.😝 I hope this wasn't too tedious to read. 🙈

@@ALeXZVaMpYRoCkZ Wowee! I love this. To keep everything spinning. yet preserve the balance, to allow for change and growth, but not collapse into chaos: I'm no scientist, alas, but isn't it a bit like quantum physics....? Or as Terry Pratchett would put it, a story that is trying to tell itself and reshape itself, again and again and again? I think that's why we all find it so compelling. (As well as it being channelled through the firecracker combination of Tennant and Sheen, of course!)

I honestly think that referring to Crowley as a demon is inaccurate. He even calls himself a former demon and mentions many times that he is on his own side. I think "fallen angel" is a better description of what he is. He has retained so many of his "angelic" qualities, and his idea of "doing evil" really isn't all that evil (it's more annoying on a mass scale). I don't know how God views him, and honestly, I'm not sure Crowley himself cares about how he is seen by God at this point, but I do think that he sees himself as something different: not an angel, but not a demon either.

Regarding signs that foreshadow their separation or at least tell us that something isn't quite right: the first time we see them "together" in the present, they are on the wrong side of each other. When they speak over the telephone, their places are switched during the call in the split screen. (Even before that, Crowley is sitting on the left side of the park bench, with Shax on the right, where Crowley would usually sit.) But even more importantly, imo, when Crowley enters the café and passes Aziraphale to take a seat opposite him, he passes him on the wrong side. Aziraphale even turns to his left, expecting Crowley to be there.
@Sendarya

Wow, well spotted!!! They really work the left/right positioning into every scene, it's extremely meaningful. Edited to add, you are spot on, Az DOES turn left, like he always does when expecting Crowley, Just...THE DETAILS! Sorry, I'm ok....Also, they are sitting on the wrong sides. When they are facing each other in a frame, Crowley should be on our right, but for this entire conversation, it's the opposite way. It's the same orientation as the kiss. More bookended shots! First scene and last scene together, they have reversed position. Why does noticing this kind of thing make me squee internally? :D

@@Sendarya I'm squeeing right there with you! It would be really interesting to see how often the switched positions actually happen and when/why. I have trouble with left or right, and most of the time I get confused when the point of view changes. (I think I only noticed it in the café because Aziraphale turned his head 😅) Also, when I try to re-watch the series and look out for hints like this, I get so sucked into it that I forget to look out for it after a while 🙈 Your videos and insights are amazing. The three daggers in Azirpahales back probably represent the three zombies that were after them in the 1941 scene. I dont think it means anything big about heaven or is alluding to something happening in season three. I think it’s just a visual representation of the nazi zombie flesh eaters that were after them. Also, the dagger between them could symbolise many things, like hell and heaven trying to break them apart by trying to get photos of az and Crowley’s collaboration in the first place. Yea.
