I know Neil said he would do a 3rd season if he could, and he had the ideas, and that season 3 isnt focused on a love story-- but thats all he gave. That it would be different from 2. I keep seeing crying emojis and pleas for 3 as im bingeing this & i am just absolutely gripped with terror that something awful might happen to Crowley because they're really showcasing how wonderful and selfless he is this season. It scares me to death. Also, really appreciate the scene where he gets to be "Doctor" AND it takes place in the past. Beautiful little egg there

What, you think "old married couples" never have big, even huge, disagreements and separations? People change over time, and it is a struggle to accept each other's changing values, perceptions, struggles, etc.

I'm afraid they have like a million interviews the same day. That's the magic of internet, instead of having them go all over the place, they go in one place and everyone interviews them. Like literally everyone. I wonder how many hours they did that day.

This is clearly some press day where they spoke to many interviewers in the same day. Some at least have seen season 2 at this point. The problem is that the SAG aftra strike started shortly before the season hit Prime and because of that they can’t promote their stuff. That’s why there are no interviews recorded after the show started streaming. Simultaneously there is a WGA strike going on meaning Neil Gaiman is also on strike and unable to promote the show or keep writing season 3 (he has finished the first episode and the final 15 minutes). He can answer questions on his personal social media though! (Active on tumblr). I really want the strikes to end so I can see what Michael and David have to say about the ending!

Try to walk in A's shoes....remember that Michael always says that Aziraphale is a creature of love, and wants to love everyone? He finds it hard to concentrate only on only one or 2 people's wellbeing and love, even Crowley's. He's tempted, perhaps pridefully, to try and make Heaven more loving and help lots of people.

I disagree, they both went through nessasary arcs. Look at some people analysing it, I think in the next season will have Aziraphale going after Crowley (because Crowley won't, he's given up) and then in Neil Gaimans words "haveing a satisfying ending". Also remember them hinting at a picnic in season 1, I think they where saveing that for season 3. If you cancel it now you'll never get that ending. Gaiman referred to Season 2 as "the filling of the sandwich". We have to keep it popular so Amazon picks it up again

Why? Because it didn't have a simplistic happy ending? It allowed for many themes to be explored, including a redemption arc for Gabriel--and we're a world that barely allows that people can redeem themselves after doing wrong--and even what humans can teach supernatural beings about love.

@@letolethe3344 Exactly, and I'm sure Aziraphale will get a redemption arc in the next season. His very first appearance is season 1 has been leading up to this. Good omens is ultimately about true love transcending all else, what kind of story would it be if he didn't choose Crowley in the end?

@@crow9247 I agree with what you say 100%, but I'm getting the impression the previous comment is upset because it was very inclusive in terms of its relationships. Note the word "disgusting". There are people who have seen s1 and don't pick up on the homoerotic undertones. This time, it was super obvious, and some people are mad about it. :)

@@DarkBandicoot That's so true, I never even considered that could be what they're on about. I've seen so many people be upset because the ending left them heartbroken, and their relationship always seemed very obvious to me. Especially when you look at all of the actors and Gaimans thoughts on it from interviews and tumblr posts from years ago
