I'm from Ghana, We have in some areas guys like these men guarding communities and they're called " The Volunteers " They get paid by the communities to roam about the streets watching the area and oftentimes the men who are on guard lives in the same area. I think its a good thing, because criminals stay away from those places. God bless you

@whodoesntlikesurfing because it was proven in a court of law that those men chased him down with the intent to cause bodily harm. Arbery had committed no crimes and their chasing of him and gunning him down was not only unwarranted but was justly deemed a hate crime. They even took pictures with his dead corpse like he was a trophy animal that they just hunted and shared it to all of their family members. Some of those messages before and after the murder was "Get that N!" and "We got that N!" This man not only raped a 13 year old girl but a boy as well he deserves far worse than what that those heroes did to him. I commend them for not taking it further because I surely would have.

The nature of his offence is so brazen. They say that when an offender of this nature gets that brazen, it is likely because he has progressed over a long period of offending. When one does a thing that’s risky, one begins very timidly. Yet after so much repetition, familiarity is gained, and , an offender will constantly push the limits to the maximum of what he thinks he can get away with because this means his offending options increase. Sad to say but when we see a brazen, aggressive rapist, who commits their offence in broad daylight, without even taking the time to find a singular target- so that he takes a pair, and even though he only wants the one, hatches a quick plan to secure the one he doesn’t want…it is very likely that this bastard has been committed these type of offences for a long time.

I give massive praise to those men and women who stepped up to protect all the other girls in that neighborhood. They could’ve chosen to not get involved, they could’ve chosen to “mind their business” but they chose to do the right thing. I’m impressed that they had a self-control to leave him alive.
