@Joseph thats why you bring as close as possible to the surface, changing mediums with high velocity projectile tends to make them shred apart and/or slow way down, and if it has a hard head sever the spinal cord just behind the head, it's usually a softer target (species dependent I suppose)

normally id say excessive but that thing was dead instantly so less suffering from being speared or stabbed to bring it in. in a way i actually prefer this, to quickly dispatch with a well placed shot and then simply reel it in.

Commercial fisherman here caught many many cobia and yes they do look like a shark. In fact one time fishing with a greenhorn(inexperienced fisherman) and he told me "come help me with this shark" turns out it was a nice cobia and ended up losing it because i didnt have a gaff handy for that "shark". Got a good laugh out of it though(after the crying of course)

Glocks have the safety on the trigger. Never pointed it at anyone or crossed their location. Waited till it was angled downward to avoid any ricochet. Layed it down facing away from everyone. Good gun handling and good shot. 👍

It is not. I know the Fish rules app says otherwise but I've talked to FWC for an extended time figuring out the rule on snook and redfish Federal. There are no rules so they are enforced by state. The rules are the exact same as they are in state waters.

Fastest way to kill it and the fish doesn't have to suffer, i know it looks painful but if he shoots it in the head fish will die faster than the brain process it. Better way than having it on the boat alive and suffering for like 5-10 mins.
