All good, and definitely not thinking you were having a go👍 Yea its a bummer I can't just releases the film on KZfaq after the film festival is over... I did have the discussion with the guys at SCF about it and it may be possible down the track, but not for a long while i'd say... All in all though I have to say the SCF guys have been really good and seem to be doing the comp for the right reasons, so I think I felt bad for them as I might have given the impression in my intro that it was BCFs gig, who we know probably don't need the extra $25😅 Also I think this level of content most likely would not have ever made it to KZfaq etc with out the help of the organisers. I probably should have also made it clear that on top of the prizes for people watching and voting there is substantial prizes for the competitors as well. First prize being 70k! SCF also structured the prize pool so even the last placed film would still walk away with something so all the time and money spent during filming could be offset somewhat. So they kind of made it viable for me to do it in the first place, so I don't want everyone to think they are just pocketing everything. I think they are also donating the Gold Class screening profits to ozfish.org.au so all good stuff that I think is important for everyone to know. I have had a few comments saying it all seemed a bit like a pay to win comp which I don't feel is true so thought id better clear it up😅 I might just pin this thread up top so everyone can have a read if thats fine. I have have so many questions, but I'm sure your busy so I'll burden you with just one and feel free to ignore it if it's too personal. How do you occupy your time on those islands, surely even paradise must get boring from time to time?

Haha, yea I did find myself sitting around a bit on the islands, especially in the hot middle part of the day. But funnily enough I actually feel because of the vids I now full more time doing filming or camera stuff. Also depends on how easy it was to catch the meal for the day, iv had days were I was kind of done at lunch time, then days were I couldn’t catch anything until just before sunset😅

I think the insta360 will give me some amazing shots but still using the GoPros as well for now. But a nice combination of the two should work well. Definitely impressed with the 360 footage so far👍
