Wonderful! My late husband and I spent our honeymoon in Townsend in 1985. We went back several times on fall vacations to enjoy the beauty there. We always ordered rainbow trout too. Love all your videos ❤

This is the cutest place the river is so relaxing the pancakes are huge the ham and eggs are made just the way I like them I would have breakfast here two or three times a week

I like the name of this Restaurant. The name of a restaurant sets the mood and expectation of the restaurant, even before you arrive. Sometimes the ambiance at the restaurant may be effected by the name before even ordering your food. but the river and the seating and the overall casual easy feeling is so appealing

I've been going to that location for almost a decade now been 3-4 different owners but that river side seating is the best in Townsend and also the most laid back relaxing vs the hussle & bussle of the other side of the smokies. Been GREAT food over the years and like the local touch!

Exactly, even with the maple flavor in the sausage, I still like some maple syrup on my sausage, I grew-up eating it that way! I am not a big blueberry fan, but, I am a fan of lemon and, I would order them to just for the lemon butter and cinnamon streusel alone, it all looked delicious!

nice menu choices. prices were affordable. seems food was done well and memorable. decorations were seasonal which tells me the owners wanted to make an environment suited to comfort and big warm hugs.

I'd die and gobto heaven, I love blueberry pancakes! And they aren't stingy with the blueberries, a lot of places! I would have prefered powder sugar! Although the lemon strussel looked good. I think you guys picked out a nice place to go to eat. Is nothing like going somewhere and feeling like home when you go to eat. I'm glad to see you guys I try to catch you guys as much as possible I even see some of your old videos because it's nice to see you guys going out and trying different places I live in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and we do have some places like that but if you go on the outskirts you'll find better homemade food at your diners and whatnot but glad to see you guys are enjoying yourself take care!

I can't remember its been awhile but there use to be what I call a biker bar that had all money hanging all over the walls from everybody that visited and the food was great my ex fiance and I rode our Harleys there one evening when we were going thru Townsend. It was a great hole in the wall kinda place. 👍

love all of your videos. I noticed that you said the eggs were dont perfectly, and i agreed as you poked into it, as i love runny eggs and then you said “its not runny at all.”. i think a medium egg would be not runny but what you got was over easy, thus runny, and thats the best way to eat them. :-)

If you get a chance to go in the afternoon their burgers are awesome

I went to a place similar to that near Conway South Carolina, no river view but good people and great food like that. I think you haven’t lived until you have had some really good country ham. And that ham looked outstanding. If I’m down that way I’ll certainly check this place out. I’m dying to go to Dollywood and to check out the local area. I’m not sure how you get to so many places but I’m glad you do! I enjoy your videos quite a bit! Keep on keeping on you two!!

Sad to say wasn’t our experience in September. I only got one raw blueberry pancake( at the size, 1 would have been plenty had it been cooked) that only had about the outer inch cooked, no topping at all . Out of 4 meals we didn’t get one that was either all cooked , not burnt or what was ordered and the staff were all fighting in front of the customers and never came back after dumping the food off. Not exactly good vibes so hopefully we hit an off morning or you hit an exceptionally good one 😂. The view on the river was great though!

We never knew about this place. Great review. John, we did notice the pepper on the potatos, was that all that was on them or were there any herbs as well? We prefer them without the herbs, so if they were just salt and pepper that would be great.
