I think that the fact that it was a random character who killed him is what made it so shocking. If it wouldve been Davis or Tariq it wouldve been too predictable but I agree that Saxe went out too easy since he was such a big and important character.

Shane Johnson is a damn good actor! Saxe had a good run! He lasted the ENTIRE original Power series, AND made it almost towards the end of season 3 of it's spin-off... I low-key wish Saxe & Tommy would've had ONE MORE face off before Saxe had Christmas cancelled on him😉

They could offer it but the issue there is Noma. A smart player in the game would recognize that immunity is only an option if the head of the snake and all of the body is killed not captured. Because immunity may come with witsec however witcsec only works for local organizations for a global criminal you are screwed. In Effie’s case if she’s smart she needs to reach out to Tariq before saying anything

Effie said they left her in the dark because no one told her what was going down. She really thought she was about to get arrested for the drugs. When they tested it and it was sugar she was just as surprised as them. But she’s smart so she put 2 and 2 together. She probably called Cane afterwards and he told her what was going on, so that’s why she showed up at the tejada’s afterwards.

Tariq knew if he told her upfront what they were going to do she would’ve done her own thing. I also think there was a little bit of revenge in there as well, but in his own son away, he was still showing her trust me I got you. As much as we all hate every right now, when it comes down to it, her and Tariq love each other. It’s kind of like when James and Angela were beefing but deep down they just want to get back to them being together

I was watching the episode with my girl, explaining that Saxe, Tommy & Tariq were the longest active characters going back to the original Power and then Saxe died the following scene. I instantly thought i cursed him. 😂 Shane Johnson played the hell out of this role. I wish they hadnt killed the Saxe character off.

Not gonna lie, I'm a little shocked that he's gone. He made through all of power and to season 3 of Book 2. He played the hell out of both sides very well.

This one definitely lived up to the hype! Shane really brings it and the guys give some well deserved flowers. Much respect to all! I was glad they pointed out that expression on Tariq's face. It seemed to hit him really hard seeing Saxe go out like that. OAN, what 4s are Gianni rocking?

Have seen many characters played so well. He played Cooper Saxe so so well. He gets you so worked up and so anxious when watching. I call that super-great acting 😂

Honestly I’m happy Saxe is dead but Shane Johnson what a hell of a actor he is after watching this episode really can tell how much blood sweat and tears he put into the Power universe what an excellent man and great role model for the younger crew members❤👏🏽
