When Gene left TODAY, a voice was lost. It's gratifying to know he's still alive, but like many news stations, a chapter ended where an anchor for arts and entertainment would report on the broadcast. Former NBC affiliate, WBZ Boston had Pat Mitchell, Mary Stewart and Joyce Kulhawik who like Gene handled entertainment reporting down to a science! Gene, thanks for 41 wonderful years! GOD bless you!
