Dipper's last message is so heartwarming. It tells us that somewhere out there, there's a place for each of us that makes us feel happy and special, just like how Dipper and Mabel felt at Gravity Falls. It tells us to adventure and to work to find it, our own Gravity Falls, because no matter what hardships you face on your way, you will eventually find the place and when you do, it'll be all worth it.

I got so darn emotional in this scene. When the show first started, I honestly didn’t give it much attention. But man, I never missed an episode once I finally watched it.

I don’t think anyone understands how important this show was to me this is by far my favorite cartoon as a kid still is I was so sad it ended so I started making my own episodes in my head like I’m still watching it and I can’t wait to come home and rewatch my favorite episodes again

It's 2021 and I'm still crying over this show ending, this show along with Regular Show and Adventure Time were my whole childhood and now they've all ended. I just wish I could go back to seeing them air for the first time again.

Gravity Falls was one of the most impactful cartoon shows of my childhood. It resembled so much of my life as I went on, as random as it was. The good ages of disney were those little cartoons that weren’t known widely, but still recognizable as time went on. They were teaching of a moral unknown, but one that still taught a good lesson. I think Alex knew truly how to create a good story- making memorable and provoking characters, even if they had a seemingly senseless plot. It certainly took its place in so many people’s hearts, and I can do nothing but congratulate him on that. Hopefully he manages to make a sequel somewhat.

Coming here after Amphibia ended really just makes me feel sad that so many years have gone by and that plot driven animated shows (non anime) are slowly disappearing and from I’ve seen they won’t be making a return for a while. Looking back on Gravity Falls and Amphibia really makes me realize how much I’ve come to love these shows and I will never be the same knowing that I will never again see another promo, trailer, or short clip of either of them. They’ve left an everlasting mark on my life and I’m truly thankful for it. Thank you ❤️

What makes this finale great, is how every detail feels connected and aren't abruptly introduced. Mabel and Dipper had to leave Gravity Falls, because they were only there for a summer. A final battle happened because in the season 1 finale, it was established that demons had been released from the portal. Stan had to leave the Mystery Shack to Soos because he wanted to spend time with his brother again, as we see in the season 2 premiere. The pig had to come because Mabel feels deeply connected to it, even during the apocalypse. It flows so naturally, something few cartoon finales manage to accomplish.

Still wild thinking about this lol I based my whole online persona off this show.. started watching 1st season when I was 12 when the very first episode debuted and now I’m 20. It hits hard bro.

Yes, a long life story below lol This show means life for me, it started my slow transformation into an absolutely different person. I was 14 when i randomly discovered GF on local ukrainian tv channel, my first impressions were weird, but after 3 minutes of watching it (this was episode when Stan tried to get rid of Waddles), i instantly fell in love with style, humor, characters etc I've started to looking for more episodes, because i needed more episodes as an oxygen And i finished season 1 within the week. After that, i realized that there's season 2 coming out already, so, i went to Google and i tried to find the information where i could watch the new episodes and i found one large VK (CIS Facebook basically) about the show, where i were able to find the people like me, i started my slow transformation into a communicative person, i've been bullied every single day at my school (society moment i know), and i felt so peacefuly along the same GF fans like me. Probably, i was the largest GF fan in my hometown xdd And i remember those days, when i was trying to avoid spoilers when new episodes were coming out, i didn't catch a single one lel And i am definitely remember those bait posts from Alex about the real author of the journal, i had so many theories about it And man, march 12 2015, i woke up at 7 am, i had 1:30 hours until my 1st lesson at school, and i decided to watch the iconic episode when i truly thought that Stan was a bad guy, yes, i'm talking about the episode where the real author were revealed i went into a shock mod for the rest of the week bruh The best episode for me is "Mabel and Dipper vs the future" (sry if i messed up with the name of it) I felt as did, i felt Mabel's feeling, she doesn't want to leave her friends, her grunkle, but importantly, she didn't want to lose her brother, he means a world for her, yes, we all can complain that her actions were too selfish, but we all gotta agree, the scene when Mabel ran away from Dipper because she was so sad, was too emotional, and when she gave the ball to Blendin, because he promised her an eternal summer, but all knew that it was a trap, when we realized that the shit gets real And i remember the exact place when i read the news about the last season of show This was some local McDonald's and i started to eat my precious double cheeseburger i discover the shock news and a long text from Alex Season 2 will be the last And i can't even describe my feeling this day, i had a feeling like i was about to lose something important to me, the life-changing thing that means world for me But after 3 days i accepted that fact I was looking for the finale, i was megasuperduper hyped about it And the day X, i had a Rollercoaster of emotions, especially the crying about the end of the show GF gave me everything what i have right now: I started to watcg the show in original English dubs with rus subtitles, and i gave myself an aim, to learn English and find some friends from across the world I started to treat people in a good way, i became an better person But most importantly, GF gave the love for the animation, after GF i discovered so many incredible shows and movies Especially SVTFOE, this one was also a life-changer for me I started to moderate one public page in VK and i found more friends And i found a girlfriend because of SVTFOE, we are 3 years together already, and i am thankful for my fate And i discovered one popular english discord server and i found a lot good friends, they're still one of the important pieces in my life puzzle And yes, i improved (and keep improving) my English skills because of them GF and SVTFOE are both life-changer for me But GF had started everything From 2014 to present day I am an huge animation fan, i love and respect it And i am a different person I will be always grateful to Alex and his crew, he made my childhood And i hope that one day i'il my kid this show and tell him/her my story of becoming an huge animation fan Plz, don't mind this big dissertation, i needed to express my feelings somewhere, because one little thing can turn ur life in a good way Thank you, if reached the end of my story, i appreciated

I’ve rewatched Gravity Falls so many times now, and i always cry at the ending. This is literally the best show I’ve ever seen in my life, and all I’ve got to say is thank you Gravity Falls, Alex and everyone else for making it possible. It might be over now, we don’t know, but I have a thing to say. Don’t be sad because it’s over but he happy because it happened.

I watch this every time I get home sick for Gravity Falls

Its been a few years since I've last seen this. I didnt expect my feelings to get as intense as they used to. The instant the video began, those little tinkling notes accompanying the vibrant pink light into the empty light hit me like a punch to the stomach. I love this show and I plan to show it to my kids someday. The message of adventure and having fun and being a kid is one that I will treasure for the rest of my life.

Seeing the empty bedroom is quite the tear jerker, I find.

2024 I miss this show

I feel like Alex Hirsch really left us with this prefect ending. It teaches us that we all have a place in the world, we just have to find it. I really do think this show deserves another summer. I completely understand and appreciate the thought of having a perfect ending but, it was never really about the show itself. It was about the love for the show and how much we truly cared for it. It doesn’t matter if it’s not as entertaining as the first 2 seasons, but it will still warm are hearts to know that we didn’t leave on an open book with opportunities. Alex, if you ever come around, we’d love to venture through another summer with the twins

Decided to give this show a chance after seeing so many references and recommendations on various online forums. A bit skeptic at first, thinking this was too childish for a 37 year old dad, but man was I pleasantly surprised. This is quality entertainment packed with a good story, likable characters that actually progress through the story, tons of humor and silliness but also has it's serious and heartwarming moments. I also love how everything important was resolved in the end and the story given a satisfying conclusion.

2022 and I'm literally sobbing watching this, this show was my childhood, I’m gonna love it forever it no matter how manny years pass.

And taught me about getting older, growing and how even the nerdiest of people can thrive in adventuring - going out there and seeing the world in all of its struggles and joys. It's very easy to me to just disappear into the theoretical. Into stories. Into what could be. But there is great beauty, great joy, great reward and wonder in venturing into the world. You might learn things, experience things, find people who get you or form stronger bonds with people you already know. You might just like being in the real world. So while you might not stop the world from literally being turned inside out, there are still mysteries to solve, journeys to embark and adventures to be had. And I think, no matter who you are, you'll love it. Gravity Falls taught me that.

Gideon, Stan, Tyler, McGucket, Grenda, Stanford, Wendy, Pacifica, Blubs, Robbie, Candy, Nate, Lee, Soos, Thomson, Susan, Durland, and Schmebulock all signed that letter. Some were obvious, others not so much. A very nice touch to cap off an amazing cartoon.
