Wow, this one made me feel very emotional. I hate goodbyes. But this bitter sweet moment won’t last as you’re well on your way to your life’s next chapters. I’m Korean, so I see how your life went in the exact opposite direction to mine. I think we’re both where we were meant to be. But that doesn’t mean we don’t still have itchy feet which will lead us to new and exciting adventures ahead.

And I just have to say that the video was beautifully made. A nice ode to the London apartment. Especially the ending. ❤️❤️❤️

You worked wonders on that flat and on yourself while you were there. Both of you are better because of the time you spent there. And I have to say I much prefer the you we've been seeing since you moved to Korea, I'm looking forward to see what you'll do next :-). And on a side note: I just booked a holiday to Seoul! I've never been before and I know virtually nothing about South Korea, but I have time for research and I also kind of love not having a 'to see' list because who needs that kind of pressure on holiday haha. That being said, if anyone has any tips, would be glad to hear! (I'll be there in november for a month, so probably also time to see other parts of the country as well)

I actually really love the grey subway tiles! Still think your Smeg fridge is the best thrifted item EVER! My sister has just had a new kitchen fitted & had to say Goodbye to her red fridge. British Heart Foundation collected it from her & were really delighted & said it wouldn’t stay long in their charity shop .

Next time just use Viakal for the limescale. You spray it on, leave for 10 minutes, and wipe it off. No scrubbing needed, it doesn't smell and it removes 100% of the limescale, leaving everything nice and shiny.

Just cherish every minute of your new life in South Korea. You seem happier there. London and family will always be there for you. Make new memories, with new friends. ❤❤❤

That's good that you don't feel sad about leaving the London apartment. Perhaps because it was a family apartment, not just yours?

Life is a series of steps. Sometimes forward, sometimes backwards, a few side steps thrown in for good measure. In order to get to where you want to be you must be willing to take a few steps and sometimes that means saying a few goodbyes. I admit it is a bit of a shame to have to leave the fridge in the UK but . . Last we heard the house was being rented. Is that still the case?

What are you going to do with all the stuff in the flat? I noticed that in South Korea, you had bought plenty of things. I guess it was an indication that you were going to stay. I once lived in Japan for two years but I honestly never wanted it to be my home. I always wanted to return to Australia because it's where my family is. Now I picked up diving and Australia is abundant with opportunities to dive so I have no interest in going overseas again. Plus it's expensive... I guess I've been through the phase of living abroad twice in two different countries and don't want to anymore. I can see the excitement though so I wish you luck and enjoyment. And I know you will inspire others to go to Korea to try it out.
