The end where the one friend turns to the other and the scene cuts was a nice touch. Had me laughing.

Very funny. I especially like how you cut it right before the old man explained what was going on.

I was afraid the mad drunken clown would mow down the two old painterly friends, but it was an entirely different outcome and I loved it!

Psychoville, IT, Terrifier, Killer Klowns from Outer Space and now Mr Snuggles! Clowns aren't always represented positively in films. Very funny short though - liked the short Leone stand-off toward the end. Great cast too!

4. How does Goodbye Mr. Snuggles present two worlds that seem destined to collide? What do you think these two contrasting worlds may represent? While the object of the two worlds were totally and vastly different, the setting was still the same. They clearly seemed to be at the same time in the same locataion. The way the shots jumped to one another also implied a merging of the worlds. To be honest, I can't fathom what the worlds are meant to represent, but if I had to guess, I'd say that the calm painters represented maturity and acceptance, while the clown represented past regrets. 5.Express how Goodbye Mr. Snuggles might relate to the ideas expressed in Travis T. Anderson’s “Seeking After the Good in Art, Drama, Film, and Literature” in four to five sentences. Consider how Anderson distinguishes between entertainment and art and how the short film similarly conveys these differences. I suppose on the one hand, the clown could be seen as the flashy, violent, and vulgar media all over the world today. The reckless driving, loud music, and killing of the bird can easily be seen as parallels to that genre of mindless entertainment. The painters on the other hand, were seen to be the more wholesome, and uplifting of the worlds. While the clown destroyed, the painters created. If we think of both worlds as a way to spend our free time, we can see which world would ultimately be better for us. ... Good ol required humanities classes.

Really cool film. I liked the premise and the style. My only critique is that it seemed that some of the dialogue didn’t match up with some scenes.

Pity the average Brit can't defend themselves like that any longer, since no one is allowed to "carry", unless they work for MI6.
