Goodbye, School of Dragons

I can't believe I'm making a goodbye video to another favourite game of mine. School of Dragons is based on the How To Train Your Dragon franchise where you can raise dragons, fight off enemies through quests and play with your friends. However, after running for 10 years, the game closed its servers on 30/06/2023 and is no longer playable.
I have always loved HTTYD as a child, I had a birthday party around it, I used to watch all the series and movies, and I owned lots of toy dragons that I liked to play with (they are now being sold). This game was the beginning of my online journey in 2016 as it led me to discover my favourite KZfaqr, / @silverwillowwing , who opened up more games like Star Stable and Riders of Icarus to me. Silver made a tribute video to the 1 year anniversary of the game shutting down a few days ago, and it inspired me to make one as well.
I was able to get some footage of my last moments on SoD with my friend a week before the servers closed. Reminiscing over the game and listening to its soundtracks, I was able to discover SoDOff which is an experimental server of SoD where you can download and play the game still. Thanks to the admins who are running it, I was able to enter the game and recreate my viking - getting most of the footage in this video.
I'm so so thankful I can still play this game even if it is goodbye.

i used to watch one of my favorite youtubers play this game. after i saw that video i started playing it when i was younger. even though i stopped playing I loved it since HTTYD was something i loved now and when i was really young.

I remember this game, and when it disappeared I was xo sad😢 until I found ouy how to download it again! So now I know how to play it again and I have all my deagons back aswell!

there is actually a way you can still play but only on pc the way i know

I didn't know they shut down??? Oh noo T-T Haven't played it in years, so very sad to hear :( This is a fine tribute to it though

BROOO I USED TO PLAY WITH U ON SSO YEARS AGO😭. Found ur vid on sso lore on my fyp just now, but I’m Mira Cutestream and when i heard ur voice on the vids i knew it was the username i recognised. Think i remember u from red roses back in 2017/2018, or PD?(platinum diamonds??). OR u were from Dark Barons in 2019 which might be it but wow been a while
