I know I’m late but man, I gotta pay may respects with a comment and samurai slice that like button Toys R Us was such an amazing childhood experience, I wish it never had to go out of business. Cory, your stories made me remember the good memories and make me forget about the bankruptcy. Thank you so much for the amazing experience of going through Toys R Us one last time. It really brings back nostalgia and makes me and all the Samurai think back on the good times. Goodbye Toys R Us you were my childhood.

I will never forget the rush of excitement of walking through the automated sliding doors. Running throughout isles and looking at all the bright toys that I would see on commercials. Silly string, Bikes, toy cars, little planes, remote control Boats, kites, stuffed animals, Nerf guns, small remote control robots, hotwheels, and of course, Legos. I’ll never forget the wonder of bringing a new Toy up to the counter and feeling the anticipation of getting something that I thought I would only see on TV commercials and at a friend’s house. I’ll never forget the inability of holding my patience as I open the new toy in the car before we could even leave the parking lot. I’ll never forget the multiple times I said to myself “I want to go back there again.” I’ll never forget ToysR’us. It was the best place to go as a kid. I’ll never Forget it, until the day I die.

Toys R Us was part of many childhoods. Many decades. It opened in 1948 and shut down forever in 2018. Other places including Sears went out as well.

Aww man, everyone who ever grew up going to ToysRus will miss the store dearly, but at least we got to make memories growing up as a kid going to the store while we could. RIP ToysRus, you'll allways be in our childhood memories... Honestly I remember me and my sister (both being tomboys) loved getting pokemon toys and cards, toy dinosaurs, and toy cars there growing up. It's kinda sad to think kids of the next generation will never get to make memories at the store anymore...

I remember I went there like once and my mom I think it was got me a Cal weathers car toy from Cars 3 for the movie. I was never big on toy r us but I respected. RIP Toy R Us you definitely Are Us 😔😔

I was 8 years old when toys r us went out of business. I loved toys r u, we always went there and cory my mom used to get that same book and every year she got our toys from there. I cried when they went out of business and I love toys r us and good news...THEY MIGHT COME BACK IN BUSINESS. :D
