I've played a good couple of Power Stone style games in my time, but from the moment I touched this, I knew I was in for a treat. GigaBash is a send up to Kaiju, Mecha and Tokusatsu in four player brawling. And it feels GREAT.

glad to see a fellow tokusatsu fan enjoying this game! Here are some of the more subtle references/homages I was able to find: *Gigaman is similar to most Ultramen including he forming a letter 'G' pose with this beam (like Ultraman X, Victory and Z) *Pipijurass resembles Alien Baltan from the Ultraman franchise, with his snapping pincers and his ability to phase while moving *Gorogong (especially in blue form) resembles Leatherback from Pacific Rim (2013) with this glowing lines and skin texture. His giant forearms and hands are similar to EX Red King from Utlraman Ginga. *Rohanna is similar to Biollante from Godzilla vs Biollante (1989) being a plant based kaiju and able to attack with plant tendrils coming from the ground and having poison attacks

Funk fiction did some of the songs for this game which is probably why the OST sounds so funky

Pipijuras' tip-toe pose looks a lot like Sevenger's clumsy trip from Ultraman Z so maybe, that's what you were being reminded of?

for the type of game it is the roster is lacking it needs at least 20 at launch to hold people's attention for longer than a month or more modes like a gauntlet mode were you fight of waves of grunts until you fight a boss online or offline the fighters need to make more sounds like shouting roaring and damn could they not at least have victory poses when you win so you feel accomplished after a fight it needs more personality....even maybe costumes, taunts and special moves to unlock they need to do this before it comes out or else it will be lost in the void with all the other great ideas

Come on man...ps5 and we still can't fight in a big city. They still give this little circle to fight in? That's lame, mutiversus is free to play and they want 50 bucks for this? No way.
