Join us on this series where we venture deep into the northern cape just shy of the Namibian border. We follow the orange river through the points where it acts as a natural border between South Africa and Namibia.
The Namakwa 4x4 Eco Trail is one of the most iconic 4x4 routes in Southern Africa and if this is not on your bucket list yet, I highly recommend you add it.

I have done this on a Motorcycle and its something to remember.I started at Augrabies...took the back road to Onseepkans...then Pofadder to Pella...follow the river to Goodhouse...from here to Steinkopft...to Alexanderbaai...to the river crossing at Sendelingsdrift...over to SWA...to Aus...then Luderitz...back to Aus...then... Helmeringhausen to Solitaire...to Sossosvlei back to Solitaire...then Walvis Baai...Swakopmund all the way to Henties baai...back to Swakom from here to Windhoek...then the log road back to Upington...Amazing.....I did one from Sendelingsdrift through the Rigtersveld as wel.....give it a go....you will never forget it.....

If you plan to cross over to Namibia....there is a gravel road from Vioolsdrif to Ross Pina along the river....it is a must...🎉🎉

Bro …. I have watched all ur video,I m also currently building my own bakkie as well ,can please breakdown the cost of building your vehicle which instrument/gear will you recommend why did you choose an SUV instead of a bakkie. I must say it’s an expensive sport indeed…
