Ya it's a travesty. A&W is the Supreme root beer. The flavor is so complicated and there's so much depth and nuance. Every other root beer is just brownsugar and water.

Actually 'Schwipp-Schwapp' is a brand name. The combined drink of Fanta and Coke is called 'Spezi' in Germany

@@cherrydragon3120 There's only 2 brands in Germany who are allowd to call it Spezi; Paulaner and the actual brand called Spezi. They have some kind of copyright contract. It's more common in the southern regions.

Mixing all the fountain sodas together was super popular at the rink where I figure skated for many years, and we called it Swamp Water. It was even listed on the menu board, lol. Super yummy, I still love it.

Spezi's are the best! My mom grew up in Germany before coming to the US around the age of 9 so I grew up drinking it. However, my little child mind was blown when we took a family trip to Germany to visit my great grandmother and it was everywhere! I always got weird looks mixing them here but not in Germany! Garnishing it with a slice of lemon makes it even better!

I've got one that I've had for years and retried it today: as good as I remember as well. Dr. Fantis: Dr. Pepper, Orange Fanta and Oasis (summer fruits) - You can go 1/3 of each for the first glass then i'd suggest adding dr. pepper or fanta to taste (don't add more oasis or it will overpower everything)

In Germany Coke and Fanta is called Spezi not SchwippSchwapp, which is just a brand selling "pre-mixxxed" Spezi. When you're the next time in Germany order: "Ein großes Spezi bitte!".

I can't stand mediciney tasting things and licorice but Root Beer and Dr. Pepper are my 2 favorite drinks, I dont think either of them taste like medicine or licorice at all lol.

Mill workers in the south in the early 20th century got a very short break for midday meal. To have a meal in a short time they would pour a bag of peanuts into a Coke or a Pepsi and "drink their lunch".

The way Rhett is SUPER adventurous but Link is SUPER picky is what makes you guys great 😂 my husband was pretty picky said "I don't like __" a lot. Then he met me. On those freestyle coke machines if you mix vanilla and peach sprite it ends up tasting like Peach Rings. And vanilla sprite, blue poweraid, and a splash of grape fanta tastes like those gummy sharks.

Arthur Vinck Coca Cola in Mexico (bottled, not canned) is amazing compared to bottled Coca Cola here in the US. It is lighter in color and does not taste bad like the US version

My favorite is 8-9/10 of the cup Minute Maid lemonade and 1-2/10 of the cup Strawberry Fanta, to get original bubblegum flavored soda!!!! I haven't heard anyone else knowing this combo so I'd love to hear what you guys think if your try it. I'm gonna try your green apple combo!!!

Rhett there is a milk named "Fairlife" and on the label it states that they actually put a lactase-type enzyme into it so if you're lactose intolerant you could still drink it because the enzyme inside the milk breaks down the lactose. I love it so much!

The german version of Fanta looks and tastes completely different than the Fanta from the states, its a more natural orange color and they use orange juice for flavoring. If you want to get the true experience try the German Fanta and German coke, the coke tastes different but its not as prominent like the Fanta.
