Out of the 10 videos I watched comparing these 2 apps, yours is the only one that mentioned the Notability Mac app costs $5 extra. Decision made - going with Goodnotes

Yeah, GoodNotes 5 is the clear winner. But in terms of writing, nothing beats the feeling you have when you write in Notes app specifically in ‘pencil’ mode. It’s as good as writing with a real pencil.

Shoul i buy ipad 10.2inch foe note taking or ipad air 3?? My concerns are that 10.2 doesn't have laminated display and true tone... Will that lead to more strain on eyes??? And not a good writing experience.. I will study for around 6 hrs daliy on ipad

Thanks for the amazing video.., I am curious about one thing, i am thinking of buying ipad pro 12.9 for taking notes for competitive exams and they are going to be almost 400 pages for each subject and there are around 25 subjects and i have heard that protector wears down the apple pencil after some time for heavy use, is it true? Hi, I will be buying an Ipad for the first time and I never had any Apple product before. I was planning to buy one in 2018 but then had some issues and dropped the idea, but kept on saving since then and now I have enough to buy a 256 GB 11 model along with 2G pencil and smart keyboard folio. I will be using it mainly for reading, online streaming, note-taking, store and access my work manuals and casually for drawing as I used to draw but then discontinued and making 3D layouts of Autocad drawing I make in 2D. So My question shall I buy the 11 inch model as it is handy to carry around and work or 12.9 in. Could you suggest?

ONE NOTE is everything. I love the fact that it can be used across all the platforms and for free with both typing and writing. And attaching documents is so smooth and customisable. A lot of times i am typing on my laptop with my ipad on and it just syncs so well as I go. The only downside is that they don't have all the word editing features and smoothness (eg for pictures and line spacing and table edits etc) and the colours for highlighting and filling are not that great. But that doesnt hinder much. I used goodnotes 5 for a whole year before switching to one note and i wish i had done that earlier Goodnotes 5 is definitely better than notibility with their new update. The only problem with it is importing documents like word or powerpoints or any webpage. The pdf it creates are so disorganised and all the formatting just goes to trash which is a plus with one note.

I also use one note. But nowadays,it is having huge bugs. One note is not syncing at all. Do we face these problems in these paid apps too?

The only thing that keeps me from onenote is PDF export (yea i know its there, but printouts never come the way i want them to come). Also you cannot set paper size on Onenote(like A4, A5 or A3).... but also there is no "Proper" PDF import type thing... for pdf annotation (including adding text and annotating), Liquidtext is definitely better (maybe... its a bit subjective though)
