About Us:
We are a homeschool and homesteading family currently building on our new 20 acre homestead in North Idaho. We garden, seed save, raise rabbits, raise chickens, process our own meat, save our own seed, can, bake, and do just about everything that we can ourselves to achieve a self sufficient and debt free life for our family.

Loved the video. I’ve been putting off my shower build to see how yours goes. On a serious note, I ask for the prayers from you and your viewers. We lost a Charleston PD Officer this week. She was shot and killed responding to a parking complaint. Please keep her and her family in your prayers. Thank you.

Yes, I like the curved shape; probably shed rain and snow better than a regular shape. Maybe they'll put a tarp over it like they did with the hay.

I remember my grandmother would poke all the candies in the back to see what the fillings were 😁It would make my dad so mad.😡 One day, he brings a big box of Christmas candy in and tells her, they’re labeled so don’t be poking at the candies anymore. You’d think it would of stop there, nope, next thing you know, most of the candies were bitten on. I hear my asking her about it, she replied , she was tasting some of them to see if she’d like them or not🤣. Ah...good times......

I think that See's Candies were about $2.50 a pound in Portland, Oregon back in the late 1960s... Last week, I checked them on eBay, and that they were around $40.00 a pound!!! Wow, that's inflation!!!

I am laughing so hard right now. I knew by the end of the episode that the pants would look like that. I just knew there is no way that you wouldn’t go there. 😂😂 I am also a fan of the darker grout so much easier to take care of and get it to look good.

I’m loving all those individual tile pieces. Will go great with the scheme of the entire tiny home. For an individual who has never remodeled or built a bathroom I rather enjoyed the steps of creating a bathroom. Your hard work the past 8 months has been awe inspiring. Great work! I moved to Idaho three years ago after a long career as an industrial electrician in California. I love north Idaho but settled in Boise close to my son and his family. Seeing the beautiful area you all live at makes me think I should have done the same but being close to family is important right now. How great it is for your kids to experience growing up in such a fantastic way. I hope to visit the north as much as I can. Talk about something that's good for the soul. Well done!

You guys are hilarious! I loved your closing shot and comments. ~ Great job on the shower. I can't wait to see the tile you chose for the walls. Loved: the close-ups of the sheep eating; Kenji (I hope I have your dog's name right) looking like he would steal a bite right out of their mouths; the sun all golden on the mountains in the distance; the box of chocolates with a bite taken out of each one; Jeremy throwing fits when he'd lose a game; watching the cat reveal it's route down (and logically, up, of course) to the top of the tiny house... everything's entertaining. Just interesting to me. When in college in San Francisco, I worked holidays at See's candies. A bunch of us did. I didn't eat any at work but come of my college friends did. Some had to go home sick from eating way too much. That box of See's brought back so many memories. Your memories with that box will be as good or even better than mine are.

You two have accomplished so much in the past 8+ months, and I have to say the results are AMAZING! I look forward to each new video, because you always add some fun little element ( such as the progression of Jeremy's ripped jeans..or you kicking his butte at board games..etc ) that make your videos so entertaining. I never thought I'd enjoy something so mundane as tiling the floor of a shower..but you two have managed to capture my attention and keep it..by showing the average Joe what they can do with a little bit of effort and a whole lot of love. To watch you go from a raw piece of land, to what you have now, takes my breath away..but to also keep the fun factor going in every video..boggles my mind.
