10'33" - " The safety car is broken down!" - That is what I love about old times racing.

The crashes really put a damper on these shorter races. Maybe stop the clock during the clean up on the paced laps.

Well, they did - sort of, they added 3 minutes to the race. 🚗🙂

The schedule is too tight to stop the clock every time the safety car is deployed there are a lot of races to get through. The only alternative is to scrap the non-racing track parades / demonstrations to provide some buffer time. But I suspect this will not go down well either.
