It's springtime and we've got to get a jump on our lawn care. Today we're applying two products to the lawn with our Ag Spray 3-Point Electric Spreader. This is our second season with it, and we've got no complaints. It's lightweight and easy to load on and off. It has a great variable speed control and ample cord length. The only trick we've found is that you need to use a dry mix. Any dampness can really interfere with the Spreader's ability to, well, spread! It's on the back of my 1025R with the quik-park H120 taken off while we do this job.
So for all the information on how I'm going about my spring lawn care, including the spot treatment of Rosie's pee spots (which kills the grass), waste no more time here and jump right into the video!

I got two females. I got half as many spots. I trained them to got in the woods next to us. But they still have accidents. Nice to see Rosie getting around good.

Another great video! Cant wait to see more mowing videos from your channel Also, for those pee spots, you should get a greenskeeper II rake, you will love it. Make quick work of dethatching areas and breaking up the soil.

What you need is dog rocks you can get them on Amazon you put in the water and low the acid in there urine so they dont burn the grass that should do trick hopefully that helps 😁👍

On my spreader, I leave the spinner running and close the gate on the ends. This eliminates the big slugs on start up. I don't know if this spreader is built that way or not.

Great video as always just a little tip for you be4 you run ur spreader dont cut ur grass for a week and a half when ur grass is long you will see ur wheel marks far easier to see where ur going

Nice to see the alternative bio char. Yes the first generation stuff was absolutely horrible, I couldn't even get it through a push drop spreader!!! Lesco's brand is much better but is not yet perfect.

Hi, great video, I'm also purchasing the same spreader, I noticed in your video that you have some uneven ground, I have a lot and thought that might be a good video in showing tools that you use on the 1025r to fix that problem. I'm thinking of spreading some top soil with sand and leveling with an 8ft bar of some sort. I may have to be creative and make something for my 3pt 6ft rake that would allow me to pick it up off the ground. You tube has all types of ways to top dress your lawn. Just a thought.

I added BORA 4 inch spacers to my Yanmar SA324 2 years ago and feel more comfortable on slopes now. A good product will made.

Any reason you cannot use the 12v plug by the cup holder? Should be fused already unless the breaker amp is too low. Not sure what the specs on the spreader are, but for sure like the electric over the PTO.

That spreader , stopping an starting leaves a gobs of fertilizer it's doesn't burn the lawn ??? I like to have a pto spreader , but maybe pricey .

I mention this a couple different times in the video and making sure you're moving when turning on. You can open and close the gate to fully stop it if you want to as well. A PTO spreader would do the exact same thing unless you open and close the gate. So, really nothing to do with being PTO or electric.

This would be awesome except for using a few times a year. Looks like you need to design an electrical power beyond option Courtney! How much cost wise does this compare with just getting a lawn service to spray?

Haha, great idea! Depends on the area and your needs. I apply many more applications than a lawn service would do. Plus, I don't pay their markup for product. For those in the North, you can also use in the winter for ice melting pellets. Thanks for watching!
