Hello guys. i just setup my kit and get as far as launching the "src/assistant_library_demo.py" command. but it doesn't do anything. i also press the arcade button and it crashes the device. i believe i went through all the setup steps correctly even granting permissions to the assistant_library_demo.py script at the Google site as expected. still nothing happens when i ask say "ok Google". Any ideas?

You can load windows 7/10 on the raspberry pi, init (OS)(Disk) paste a python file (In which gTTS(Google Text To Speech) is imported with required code to run and use gTTS correctly. Then, remove the screen from the Raspberry Pi and check whether the speaker of the raspberry pi is named as a variable, and is working.

I just bought this but a bit upset that the instructions says that you have to pay like 6cent for every minute or so if you go over the 60 free minutes that they give you a month. Did you run into that situation? I wanted to put Alexa on here.... can you do that?

Okay got the Voice kit to work with a new image second try, But now it tells me that i need a Google assistant app for my phone. I go to the Google App store and try to download the app and the G store tells me "Your device isint compatible with this version" So my guess is am i stuck without a correct app now? It's seems the only way 2 control this AIY voice kit is with a APP from G store for my phone? But G store tells me it's not comptible with my phone. I have Android 7.0. The voice kit is asking for the APP. And telling me i need to setup basic settings in the APP. "HELP" point

what was the issue the first time? i get as far as the assistant_library_demo.py script, but it doesn't do anything. also pressing the arcade button crashes my setup. any ideas? i believe i am using the latest image as of Dec 31.

Such a shame, they forgot to add the image download on the new website... So, you'll get to page 36, and then stop.

This is out of date the term just shows you a http to go to and never goes to the last part to enable it.

Yeah, I've setup vnc. Only problem is I still have to start the initial script from my laptop, but once that's done, it's been fine.

I followed this: www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/remote-access/vnc/ because it's Raspbian OS truly.
