Hello, thank you for the great tutorial. I have a few questions if you don't mind. How do I check if a user exists in the database? Getting the whole user information would be expensive just for a check. Also, what is the correct way of only adding/updating specific variables instead of all. Would something like this work fine? client.Set("users/" + id + "/firstName", firstName);

ans1: getting info of one user is not that expensive and its the only way, because firebase does not provide official support for c# or vb. ans2: you can do it with update, i mean adding a property to a user if the property does not exist it will create a new one.

Hi !! I have a problem, and sure it´s my fault... but i don´t understand what happened... I get the library FireSharp, and installed it... but... the using don´t find the using FireSharp.. I tried to force in a Reference, but... visual studio can´t find nothing with this name. Maybe the problem it´s with Unity, because i am trying to do this in a Unity Proyect... Did this happened to you anytime? thanks man (and sorry for my english)

i did it using JavaScript, but c# does not have official support for realtime database so there is no direct way to do it.

no you don't have to create any columns, firebase is a no-sql database so there are no columns you save your data in hierarchy, like a world folder has a human folder inside it, there is a file where the data of one human is stored.

we have to retrieve the data, if the data returns that means it exist, if not then, it means it does not exist. try to look at the code and connect the dots.

PLS SIR U ARE NOT GETTING ME WELL. for example if you insert lets say :TACV with ur details , it saves it, the next time if you enter that same name and details, the first one is removed to replace the current one.both are not saved at the same time .one is removed

@@hoorcool2748 if you just want a simple check and pass like authentication you can easily do that with c# but if you want firebase authentiaction i'm afraid i don't know any of the c# framework that can do that.
