when you test AWS, you should also use europe regions, they may have different performance. basically everything that runs on aws on any region ends up on us-east-1 ( the mothership ) so it’s under heavy load compared to other regions

Would this mean that Google Cloud Run would also be slower compared to AWS Lambda?

I haven't tested Cloud Run yet, but since Cloud Functions are based on it, most likely, yes.

@@ishaanmalhotra3008 the real issue with GCP for production use, is constant lack of resources. Every time you need to increase quota you need to escalate

Based on the Google's track to deprecated old services such as IoT, GCR, and Google domains. I don't think that they'll support 1st get for long time.
