My Google Home was delivered on 14.04.2017 and it sounds amazing and syncs nicely with my iPhone 8 Plus and iPad Air 2. Loving every bit of it.

like the features, setup was difficult for some of my devices (August Door lock, kzfaq.infoUgkxhB5YOMNj04GuoAosExygP4cH-dKeb4aB Bose speaker)... but all switches and outlets (5), thermostat, tankless water heater. Unfortunately all I can do is turn on/off Bose. It doesn't support volume or changing channels, but I believe that is due to the particular speaker I have.... Worth getting if you already have other devices to use it with... I don't sit around and ask Alexa questions much so that doesn't really matter to me....

hi ...did such some.research and answer is yes syska smart light can be controlled buy google home mini ...i have one ...and i am able to control it ...you need to got to google home app to home control and select syska home and sign kn and authorize... it works perfectly fine.

Syska led light worked for me but with different app. Somehow Syska Smart Home app is not usable with Google home so now I am using "TuyaSmart" app, which works incredibly well and in similar fashion.

Google has real time data on average speeds on your direction of travel. i use google maps in the car and goggle is always accurate and adjusts for changes in traffic as you go along even suggesting alternative routes. Amazon does not have this functionality so it needs more base input from the user... What is the point of an assistant that asks you to do some of the work.

No it's wrong, how come you can carry your Alexa in your bike or your car to know the speed, since it is not a battery powered. It should automatically calculate the average speed with those traffics and signals at that time.

Graham Thomas its not about the video. Home device showing you navigation on phone doesn't make sense. I can tell my phone to do that while in car. Plus you gotta pay to listen to music on both devices. At present amazon makes more sense with 999 per month with music + movies. Which is 83/month for music and movies while google music is 99/ month(just the music). Device's looks and feels are not the only things that one should take into consideration, but it is the overall package that makes sense. Right now, Amazon stands tall.

This is one of the best tech reviews that I have seen online. Every question that I had regarding the echo dot and the Google home mini was answered. The only thing I wish you would have covered is what is the max distance at which each of them stops listening. You did mention the distance is the same but how much is it? 10 feet? 25 feet??.
