Been 10 years. Wow. I really loved my Nexus 4. Felt nostalgic coming here to see it again. Glad I remembered this phone.

I love this phone. One of my favorites back in the day. You can really do so much with it, remember when rooting and wifi sniffing was just surfacing?

I just got this phone today and I have to say I'm really REALLY impressed by it. In fact, this is the first and only phone I've found to be a worthy successor to my HTC HD 2, and I ran almost all the major Android builds on that one ever since 2.1 with no problems whatsoever. The build quality is great, the design is sleek and simplistic, the performance is top notch and it's got a great display, all in all - you can't beat this much bang for the buck. MKBHD, great review as ever :)

The Nexus 4 is soooo fast !! its a year old but its just fast as the best 2014 phones out there !

I've had my nexus 4 for like 3/4 years now and works as good as it did on the day I got it except that it heats up really really quickly (much quicker than it used to) from just talking over messenger and listening to music. It is almost perfect, it's my favourite phone I ever had and the only reason why I want to upgrade is because snapchat doesn't work well with it but then I don't know if that is the phone or the OS and the camera is a bit shit.

Marques's videos from 2012 look as crispy as most professional YT videos today. WOW

I've never had this phone but I remember it so well, it was like the pinnacle of greatness for Nexus devices in general both for package and price. I'm gonna miss Nexus devices, I still have 2013 version of Nexus 7 that I use from time to time.

Popped in to look back on my first Android phone. I played so much Asphalt on this.

You simply would not believe how much better the battery life is on my Nexus 4 since the KitKat update!! Freakin' EPIC. :) Anyone else noticed this?

Bought it on 2014, and still using it till now on Oct 2017. Still blazing fast! No issue found, only replace the battery once.

Hi Marques, Definitely your channel is one of the best in my collection. Especially the quality of the shots and the editing that goes in each of your reviews are superb! What camera do you use for capturing all your reviews? is it a cell phone camera or a full fledged one!? Question about Nexus 4's camera: I see most review not going in favour of the camera, I would like to know - is this to do with the lens or the chipset or is this only a software issue which can be fixed by a tweak?

Watching this in 2023, it's taking me back to my University days. It's crazy how good this phone was, for the price.

After positive experiences with the Galaxy Nexus (the first smartphone I ever used) I really got hyped when this phone was coming out. I still miss the days of the holo interface, I thought it looked really cool.

My 2nd Android phone was the Nexus 4, I wish I'd kept it. It was one of the prettiest phones ever. And the fact I added LTE to it made it so cool

Just got mine. So happy.

I bought this phone Christmas 2012 and I remember my friend bought an S3 at the same time. We used to argue about which one was better. I'm still using my Nexus 4 to this day, it has no lag at all and my friend has owned 2 more phones since. However as I approach the 3 year mark and the new Nexus phones have been announced I think it's about time I give myself an upgrade (thinking of the 5X). Nexus 4 - probably the best phone I've ever owned.

In it's day, this was a great device. I'm on the Pixel 2 now, which, to me, is the Nexus Line improved.

I have had the nexus 4 for about 3 months now and it is amazing. I don't drop my phone or anything but I really recommend a case. The performance is amazing and for $350 in Toronto on LTE, I am very happy. Great phone

Man I loved this phone so much. The subtle sloped edges and glittery glitch back were just superb. Performed well except for deactivated LTE radio, wish they could've built on this design instead of the boring Nexus 5.

Still Watching in 2017.. This spec were so awesome back then,but phone always upgrade from hardware to software,but one thing that like before till today from elderly phone is the SIZE,it so easy to hold in one hands,there not much choices for flagship model in 5.0 inch nowdays,really miss them,even today,i'm carying a 6.0inch phone..

I still using my old nexus 4 with android oreo custom rom, just this year the touch screen began to stop working in some points, the battery life is about 3 hours or less, but I'm thinking to repair it and given more life was a great device
