This really is outstanding -- clear English, slow enough instructions, explicit parts list. I'm going to use this when I get my parts. Camera is jumpy and annoying.

Did this today. Removing the back cover was the 2 hour challenge for me. I used a heat pad, heat gun, suction cups, etc. Finally, what worked was inserting a thin metal "feeler guage" to start the release. The rest of the instructions are clear -- just keep the screws in order and track those connectors and clips. I probably wouldn't have had to replace the camera. On examination, I noticed the gasket was encroaching on the barrel at the back cover; it was badly installed. On assembly, I made sure the lens could move properly.
