Actually...on such small sensors Google would need even more magic to remove the noise from a 48/64MP sensor than it would from the 12MP. And then there's the extra processing overhead for the extra pixels. 12MP is, and will stay, the sweet spot for top-end smartphone photography. Just ask Apple.

These things keep breaking, and if they occasionally work, there are terrible noise interferences with the charging process. To Hell whoever is responsible for the disappearance of the headphone jack

Ip68,Jack and sim card tray is easy to pull and size and boxy shape looks great and free headphones! What else mate and stock android along with this. Google camera application really allows the hardware to punch way above it's weight. Have a 10k Zenfone max pro m1 from 2018 with g-cam, and boy does the camera delivers.!

I love that google uses the same camera hardware that means that my 3 years old Pixel 2 is just a software update away from having a year worth of camera improvements (and its still getting better year after year). Literally i got night sight like a few days after Pixel 3.

I had the Pixel 2xl and scince its Release i use my 4xl and those phones are brilliant. Original Android, rooting without varanty void and Hardware wich gets its best outta it. Too sad here in Germany almost No one knows that Google makes phones even If they are much much better than all Other phones.

Ultimately as someone who has a compact on them when they plan to take photos (Canon G7X), the Nord is just a far better value proposition once you put aside the camera. So I ended up with that.

I'm okay with the bezels. This allows front facing speakers and face unlock. But hey, they really nailed this phone, and I hear that the bottom facing speakers are really good, along with haptics.

Bought one 2 months ago. I've had iPhones since 2016, and I was tired of the Apple ecosystem, and to have to pay to change the battery after only a year of usage... I don't regret AT ALL my switch, battery life is amazing, and so are the pictures. Plus, the screen is an OLED, while most iPhones aren't. I just LOVE my 4a.

@@hdmedia7404 yup! Don't regret one bit. I'm really struggling to find any faults! It cost me only 479$ CAD, and it feels like a phone 2x that price. The screen is even more beautiful than I anticipated, it has superb resolution and an OLED display. And the camera, wow!

I just got my Pixel 4a in yesterday - at $349 for a brand new device that promises 3 years of software updates, it’s definitely compelling as an Android device. For $50 more, if you’re looking for an iOS device that will get 5-6 years of updates along with a flagship, much faster processor, I don’t see it grabbing those buyers...but it doesn’t have to! It’s a great phone at a great price - I just wish Google would give it the marketing campaign that it deserves so that the average consumer would be aware of its existence.

First of all, it is targeted at OnePlus Nord, and it's better than Nord only on camera. Coming to Apple iPhone SE , then you must be really ready to compromise for that ridiculous, outdated display .Also battery life is bad. Honestly I don't think the hardware (battery) will last 6 years or even half of that.

Dhruv V-S The Pixel 4a and Nord hardly touch the same regions of availability. For one, the Pixel sells most units in the US - the Nord will not see US availability. Pixel is in Australia - Nord is not. Pixel is in Canada, Nord is not. Nord also isn’t in Japan, Singapore, or Taiwan. Dumbing it down to a device that’s targeted at a phone where there’s a large lack of regional overlap is missing the bigger picture.

Iphone SE is not really a better deal, it only has around 1800 mAh,LCD screen (while all 2020 smartphone uses AMOLED on this price range) and does not support fast charging.

Yarou SE does support fast charging though. Let’s not spread false info. It supports 18w. It’s not included in the box though. And if it’s a better deal really depends on who you ask. For someone that’s into android? No. Someone into Apple? Very likely. I’d never buy a pixel myself, as it’s going for $900 here, compared to SE which is going for $630.
